  3. Download or share

The video is ready in a few minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in My videos.

Which photo works best?

Upload one photo per face: one for You, two for Duo, three for Trio, four for All four, or one photo of your pet for Pet.

  • Photo 1 is always the one who falls in the mud (the green one). Then photo 2 is the red one, photo 3 the yellow one and photo 4 the purple one. Keep that order, because the order decides who is who.
  • A clear, sharp face, close up. Face the camera in good light, from the shoulders up, with no sunglasses, hat or filter. Only your face shows in the costume's round opening, so it carries the likeness. With four faces, each one is smaller: close photos matter even more.
  • One person per photo, adults only (18+). Use your own photos, or photos of friends who said yes.
  • Pet: a sharp daylight photo of your dog or cat with the face, the ears and the markings in view.

Where did the Teletubbies AI trend start?

Teletubbies is a British TV show for toddlers that first aired in March 1997. Decades later, AI video tools made its four plush characters a meme genre. In September 2025 a photo trend asked chatbots to put people in a Teletubby costume ("turn yourself into a Teletubby"), and TikTok creators traded the Teletubbies AI prompt in their comments. In 2026, AI story channels on TikTok, many in Spanish and Portuguese, posted Teletubbies AI generated episodes, and a darker, funnier strand cast the characters as a gang: the teletubbies AI gangster clips.

The Instagram account @tubbycartel turned that into a series with the line "Cute faces. Criminal behavior.", and #tubbycartel showed up on TikTok on 17 October 2026. On 3 November 2026 the account posted the clip this template makes: a low, golden-hour shot on a farm, four photoreal plush characters hop over a muddy trench toward the camera, the red and the yellow ones make it, and the green one belly-flops into the mud hole and climbs out brown. Two days later it had about 619,000 likes and 7,245 comments, with comments in Indonesian, Portuguese, Arabic and Chinese.

Four plush costume characters hop one by one over a muddy farm trench toward the camera, and the green one falls in. Vertical 9:16, photorealistic: ONE continuous take, the camera fixed low at ground level on the near side of a muddy trench, looking across it. Warm golden-hour light. RED: red, with a small round loop antenna. YELLOW: yellow, with a thin curly antenna. GREEN: lime-green, with a straight upright stick antenna. PURPLE: purple and the tallest, with an upside-down triangle antenna. Each wears a chubby, velvety full-body plush costume with a round hood that frames the face in a round opening, the antenna on top, short mitten arms and a grey square belly panel; they waddle and bounce. WHO IS WHO: GREEN is the person in [Image 1], in every frame. Red, yellow and purple each have a plain, smooth, pale doll-like face, never the face from [Image 1]. Each person's own real face fills the round opening of their hood, large and sharp: the exact face from their own image (the face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles), never a doll face. Never blend or swap faces. Each face stays the same in every frame, also mid-jump and splashed with mud, so friends recognize them at once. The costumes cover the bodies: never the clothes from the photos. A farm field at sunset: a trench of brown mud and muddy water, about one metre wide, runs across the bottom of the frame; behind it grass, rows of tall corn, a pale wooden barn far back on the left, a pink evening sky. No vehicles, no other people, no sun with a face, no letters anywhere. 0-2.5 s: the four queue on the far side of the trench, staggered so every face shows: red at the front near the camera, then yellow, green, purple. Red looks down, says "uh oh!", hops over toward the camera with a big two-footed jump and out of frame on the right. 2.5-5 s: yellow steps to the edge, flaps its arms, says "uh oh!", hops over and bounces out on the right. 5-6.2 s: green steps to the edge in the middle of the frame, the face large and sharp: exactly the face from [Image 1], looks down nervously, says a small "uh oh..." and jumps too short. 6.2-8 s: SPLAT: green belly-flops into the muddy water with a big brown splash. Behind, purple stops at the edge, looks down at green, turns around and waddles away into the field. 8-11 s: green pushes up out of the mud, dripping brown, the face muddy but clear: exactly the face from [Image 1], stares into the camera in shock, then climbs out on the far side and waddles off after purple. Audio: birds and a light breeze. Before its jump each one says only "uh oh!" in a high, squeaky, cheerful voice. On the fall a loud wet splash, squelching mud, a shocked gasp, then a small whimpering "uh oh...". No other words, no swearing. No background music. Exactly four characters, one head each: never a fifth, never a real child. No captions, no text, no watermark, no logo.

Step 1 · Photo prompt

Use the uploaded image as the base. A photorealistic vertical 9:16 photo, like a frame of a real phone video, taken low at ground level on the near side of a muddy trench at golden hour. On the far side of the trench, four characters in plush costumes stand in a queue, a little staggered so every face shows. At the FRONT, right at the edge of the trench and close to the camera, the pet from the photo stands upright on its hind legs in a lime-green plush costume with a straight upright stick antenna; its own head, face, ears and fur show through the round opening of the hood, with the same species and breed look, face, eyes, ears, muzzle, fur colors and markings as in the photo and its natural head size, so its owner recognizes it at once. Behind it three person-sized characters in plush costumes, each with a plain, smooth, pale doll-like face in the opening: one red, with a small round loop antenna; one yellow, with a thin curly antenna; one purple and the tallest, with an upside-down triangle antenna. Each wears a chubby, velvety full-body plush costume with a round hood that frames the face in a round opening, the antenna on top, short mitten arms and a grey square belly panel; they waddle and bounce. The pet looks down at the muddy water, unsure. Exactly one animal and three costume characters, no people without costumes. No text, no letters, no logos, no watermark, no frame.

Step 2 · Video prompt

The same scene, one continuous take from the same fixed low camera at golden hour. The pet in the green plush costume at the front keeps its own face, eyes, ears, fur and markings from the first frame to the last, and the costume stays on. 0-2 s: the pet stands at the edge of the muddy trench, looks down at the water and whimpers, its ears twitching. 2-3.5 s: it jumps toward the camera, falls short and belly-flops into the muddy water with a big brown splash. 3.5-7 s: behind it, the red one says "uh oh!", hops over the trench toward the camera, past the pet, and bounces out of the frame on the right; then the yellow one does the same. The purple one stops at the edge, looks down at the pet, turns around and waddles away into the field. 7-10 s: the pet pushes itself up out of the mud, the costume and its fur dripping brown, shakes its head so mud flies, and looks straight into the camera. Audio: natural outdoor sound, a light breeze and birds. The costume characters say only "uh oh!" in high, squeaky, cheerful voices. A loud wet splash and squelching mud on the fall, and the pet's own short bark or meow. No other words, no swearing, no background music. Exactly one animal and three costume characters, one head each. No text, no logo, no watermark.

What happens in the Teletubbies AI video?

One continuous low shot at golden hour on a farm, vertical, 11 seconds:

TimeWhat happens
0-2.5 sFour plush characters (red, yellow, green, purple) queue on the far side of a muddy trench. The red one says "uh oh!" and hops over toward the camera.
2.5-5 sThe yellow one flaps its arms, says "uh oh!" and hops over.
5-6 sThe green one (you) steps to the edge, your face big in the frame, looks down nervously and jumps too short.
6-8 sSplat: a belly-flop into the muddy water. The purple one looks down, turns around and walks away.
8-11 sYou push up out of the mud, dripping brown, stare at the camera in shock, and waddle off.

The sound is made by the AI: squeaky "uh oh" voices, birds, a big wet splash and a gasp. No music and no swearing. The original clip's own audio ends in a swear word; ours keeps the joke and leaves that out. The Pet version is 10 seconds: your pet falls in first and the others hop past it.

Which version should you pick, and how is it made?

No creator shared a prompt for this clip, so we wrote ours from the original reel, second by second. The people versions are made straight from your photos by top-quality AI video models, including Seedance 2.5, with no in-between picture, so the faces stay yours.

  • You (1 photo): you are the green one who falls in the mud. The other three keep plain plush doll faces.
  • Duo (2 photos): photo 1 falls in, photo 2 is the red one who hops over first.
  • Trio (3 photos): plus photo 3 as the yellow one.
  • All four (4 photos): the whole Tubby Cartel is your crew; photo 4 is the purple one who walks away.
  • Pet (1 photo): an AI picture of your dog or cat in the green costume comes first, then the video. Standard uses the best AI video models available at a lower price; Best uses top-quality AI video models, including Seedance 2.5, for smoother jumps and costs more.
