The A2O LITE NEON dance is the TikTok trend built on the duo intro of "NEON", A2O LITE's debut song (13 October 2026): two dancers sway, spin, kick and hit a high-and-low pose. From your photos, MakeViral puts you and a friend into a real duo cover, plays the moves solo, or makes two pets dance it.

The video is ready in up to several minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in your Library.

Which photo works best?

You need two photos for Duo, one for Solo and two pet photos for Pet.

  • Duo: photo 1 dances on the left and starts a step in front; photo 2 dances on the right. One person per photo, face to the camera, knees up or full body.
  • Solo: stand with your whole body in view, head to feet. The video keeps your photo's place and frame.
  • Wear what you want to dance in: your clothes stay. No sunglasses, no mask, no beauty filter, nobody else in the photo.
  • Pet: one sharp photo of each animal, whole body, face clear. Pet 1 dances on the left, pet 2 on the right. Cats look closest to the reel; dogs stand upright too.
  • This template is for adults and pets. Use photos of yourself, of adults who agreed, or of your own pets. Never a celebrity, a stranger or a child.

Where did the NEON Duo Dance trend start?

"NEON" is the debut single of A2O LITE, a new K-pop girl group from A2O Entertainment, the company of SM founder Lee Soo-man. It came out on 13 October 2026 and reached No. 1 on the Melon TOP100 29 hours later (SBS). The song opens with a duo routine, and the choreographer J-Black said on Instagram on 14 October that he helped create that opening duo sequence (SBS). Fans call the one-legged turn in it the "killing part".

The NEON dance challenge started the next day. On 14 October dancers posted the first covers: a solo take at night by @way_hyx (266,100 views) and a duo take in a glass-roofed atrium by @wendyyyxi and a friend (92,300 views), the reel this page's Duo copies. The same morning the first AI version took off: "A2O MEOW", two AI-made cats dancing the intro upright in a lavender studio (@rroyhew54, 27,500 views), the reel this page's Pet copies. AI clips of film and TV characters followed (SBS). On TikTok the group's name is often typed A20 LITE, with a zero. By 17 October 2026, #a2olite had 4,656 videos and 136.9 million views.

Recreate the reference video [Video 1] shot for shot: the same glass-roofed atrium between tall grey concrete buildings, the wooden wall panels, the dark polished floor, the same fixed low camera, framing, timing and dance moves. The ONLY change: the woman with long light-brown hair in the cropped white jacket and grey camouflage cargo pants, who dances on the left, is now the person in [Image 1], and the woman in the grey beanie and dark striped top, who dances on the right, is now the person in [Image 2]. Use [Image 1] and [Image 2] as the appearance references for the two performers in the K-pop intro dance. Keep each person's face, hairstyle, outfit, body proportions, and screen position consistent; do not swap roles or merge identities. Use [Video 1] to guide the visible two-person intro choreography, movement order, rhythm, timing, and interaction. Recreate only the actions shown in the reference; do not invent additional steps. Keep both performers fully visible in a steady, front-facing full-body shot with the same background and lighting throughout. SAME IDENTITY. FIXED POSITIONS. NO ROLE SWAP. NO DUPLICATE. NO NEW SCENES. Avoid extra dancers, fused or duplicated limbs, distorted hands, foot sliding, outfit flicker, background drift, and camera cuts. Dancer 1 (left) = the person in [Image 1], in EVERY frame: copy the exact face from [Image 1] (the face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles). They wear the clothes and shoes from [Image 1]. NO cropped white jacket and no camouflage cargo pants unless [Image 1] shows them. Dancer 2 (right) = the person in [Image 2], in EVERY frame: copy the exact face from [Image 2] (the face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles). They wear the clothes and shoes from [Image 2]. NO grey beanie and no striped top unless [Image 2] shows them. The same real people from the first second to the last, so their friends recognize them at once. Never morph, never drift back to the original dancers' faces. Both change: no one from the video stays, also when only the back of a head shows. The dance, matching the reference second by second: 0-2 s: side by side, dancer 1 a step in front, both sway and open their arms. 2-4.5 s: arms up on a diagonal, then a sway and a side step. 4.5-7.5 s: a low lean, then dancer 1 spins with a high kick while dancer 2 dances behind. 7.5-11.5 s: they split apart with wide lunges and arm swings. 11.5-13 s: dancer 1 drops low to the floor while dancer 2 stands on one leg, knee up, one hand raised. 13-15 s: both come up, throw their arms out wide and end in a wide squat, hands on the knees. One head per person, on that person's own shoulders. A face never appears on knees, legs, hands or clothes. Exactly two people. No text, no logos, no watermark.

Video prompt

Use the uploaded image as the identity and wardrobe reference for one dancer inspired by a K-pop intro performance. Preserve the same face, hairstyle, outfit, and body proportions throughout. Use the reference video to guide a simplified solo recreation of the visible movement, matching its rhythm and timing without adding choreography that is not shown. Keep the dancer centered and fully visible in a steady, front-facing full-body shot. Preserve the scene and lighting of the uploaded image; do not add other performers or switch locations. SAME IDENTITY. NO DUPLICATE. NO NEW SCENES. Avoid role changes, extra limbs, distorted hands, foot sliding, clothing flicker, background drift, and sudden camera cuts. Replace the character in the video with the person from the uploaded image. Keep actions, poses, facial expressions and rhythm. Preserve the person's original facial features, maintain character consistency, no distortion, no glitches, no artifacts. The person dances in the clothes and shoes from the uploaded image, not the light-blue fitted top or the white wide cargo pants of the dancer in the video, and keeps their own hair from the uploaded image, not long straight black hair. Follow the dancer's moves and timing exactly: the hair flick with one hand at the chest, the lean back with one arm raised high on a diagonal, the hand on the hip and the hand by the face, the jump into a wide stance, the side walk with a hair whip, the high kick to the side, the arms thrown out wide, the arms up with quick side steps and the knee lift at the end. Keep the whole body in view from head to feet, with natural balance and stable ground contact. Exactly one person, no other people. One continuous shot, no text, no captions, no logos.

Image 1 replaces the white cat with grey tabby patches who dances upright on the left, in every shot. Image 2 replaces the fluffy long-haired ginger cat who dances upright on the right, in every shot. Use image 1 and image 2 as the appearance references for the two performers in the dance: keep each pet's face, ears, fur colors, fur length, markings, body proportions and screen position consistent; do not swap roles or merge identities. SAME IDENTITY. FIXED POSITIONS. NO ROLE SWAP. NO DUPLICATE. No grey tabby patches and no long ginger fur unless that pet's own image shows them. Each pet keeps the natural body volume and proportions of its own animal: never flattened, squashed, stretched or merged with anything, with real furry paws, never human hands. If an image shows a dog or another animal, that animal takes the same place, standing upright on its hind legs and doing the same moves. Keep the plain lavender studio, the light, the dance moves, the paw moves, the motion and the camera exactly as in the video. Avoid extra animals, extra legs, foot sliding and background drift.

What happens in the NEON dance video, beat by beat?

Every version follows the same 15 seconds of the NEON intro, the part of the A2O LITE NEON choreography that the covers copy, in one continuous shot:

Duo is the trend as people know it: two people, one routine, side by side, made for best friends and couples. Your faces, hair and clothes come from your photos, not from the dancers in the cover. Solo costs the least and fits any photo of you standing. Pet is the AI cat dance version of the trend, for two cats, two dogs or one of each. The exact price shows on the Generate button before you spend anything.

Which sound and hashtags should you post it with?

Your clip comes with the NEON intro, the same seconds the dance is cut to. You can turn it off on the result screen and pick the NEON sound on TikTok when you post instead. The song belongs to its owners, and MakeViral gives you no rights to it; check the platform's music rules before you use the clip in an ad or a paid post.

Hashtags: #a2olite is the big one, with 4,656 videos and 136.9 million views on 17 October 2026. #a2olite_neon (63 videos) and #a2oliteneon are the song's own tags, and #neonchallenge works for the NEON dance challenge TikTok posts. Keep the platform's AI label on.

Why no idol in it? A2O LITE's members are 13 to 17 years old (SBS), so MakeViral never uses the group's own videos, fancams or faces, and no version copies a teen's cover. The Duo and Solo versions copy covers by adult dancers, and Pet copies an AI cat reel.

FAQ

NEON Duo Dance trend questions

What is the A2O LITE NEON dance?
It is the TikTok dance trend to the intro of "NEON", A2O LITE's debut song from 13 October 2026. Two dancers sway in sync, raise their arms on a diagonal, spin, kick, split apart and hit a high-and-low pose where one drops to the floor and the other stands on one leg. Covers, the NEON dance challenge and AI versions with cats spread on TikTok from 14 October.
Is it A2O LITE or A20 LITE?
The group is A2O LITE, with the letter O, but on TikTok many people type A20 LITE with a zero, so you will see A20 LITE NEON, NEON A2O LITE and plain A2O NEON or NEON A2O. It is the same group, the same song and the same dance.
What song is used in the NEON dance trend?
It is "NEON", the K-pop song A2O LITE released on 13 October 2026; it reached No. 1 on the Melon TOP100 29 hours later. The dance uses the A2O LITE NEON intro, the opening of the song, so people call it the NEON intro dance. A MakeViral clip comes with the same 15 seconds of the NEON K-pop song, and you can turn it off. The song belongs to its owners.
Who made the A2O LITE NEON choreography?
The choreographer J-Black said on Instagram on 14 October 2026 that he helped create the opening duo sequence, with the Cream Dance team helping with production and training (SBS). The A2O LITE NEON choreographer credit for the full song is the label's to give. MakeViral is not linked to the group, its label or the choreographers.
How do I make the A2O LITE NEON AI dance video?
Press "Create your own", pick Duo, Solo or Pet, and add your photos: two for Duo or Pet, one for Solo. Press Generate; the button shows the price first. You get a 15-second A2O LITE NEON AI video with the song, the same A2O LITE NEON dance AI trend you see on TikTok, with your own faces. You write no prompt and need no CapCut template.
Can I do the NEON duo dance with a friend or my partner?
Yes, that is the Duo version: an AI duo dance for best friends and couples. Photo 1 dances on the left and starts in front, photo 2 on the right, both in the clothes from their photos. It works as a couple dance AI clip too; use photos of adults who agreed.
Can my cats or dogs do the NEON dance?
Yes. Pick Pet and add one photo of each pet. It copies "A2O MEOW", the AI cat dance reel of two cats doing the intro in a lavender studio, so it is the A2O LITE NEON cat version of the NEON cat dance on TikTok. A dog stands upright for the same moves, and a cat and a dog work together too.
Can I do the NEON dance alone?
Yes. Pick Solo and add one photo of yourself standing, head to feet. It takes the moves of a solo cover by an adult dancer and plays them with you, in the place from your photo.
Do I need to learn it from an A2O LITE NEON dance tutorial?
No. The slowed and mirrored NEON dance tutorial videos on TikTok and YouTube are there for A2O LITE NEON dance practice if you want to learn it yourself. Here the AI does the dancing: from your photos it plays the sway, the kick, the high-and-low pose and the squat.
Is the NEON dance trend still on TikTok?
Yes. On 17 October 2026 the A2O LITE NEON TikTok wave was four days old and growing: #a2olite had 136.9 million views, and new NEON dance TikTok covers kept going up on 16 and 17 October. It is a young AI dance trend: AI cats and AI film characters do the NEON TikTok dance too, so a duo or pet take of your own still stands out.
Is my video a NEON dance cover?
It plays like an A2O LITE NEON dance cover: the same moves on the same beat. Duo copies a real NEON dance cover by two adult dancers, with your faces and clothes; you can post it as your own AI NEON duo dance and say it is AI.
Will A2O LITE or the dancers from the original clips be in my video?
No. MakeViral never uses the group's own videos, fancams or faces: its members are 13 to 17 years old. Duo replaces both dancers of an adult cover with the people in your photos, Solo takes only the moves of an adult dancer, and Pet copies an AI cat reel. Use photos of yourself, of adults who agreed, or of your own pets, never a celebrity, a stranger or a child.
Can I make other kpop dance AI videos?
This template makes one: the intro of the NEON kpop song, which people also search as NEON kpop. For more AI kpop dance clips from your photos, try the APT. duo or the SaWaDiKa dance; each makes a kpop AI dance video with the song.
Which AI models make the videos?
Duo uses Seedance 2.5: it puts the two of you into the cover itself, vertical at 720p. Solo uses Kling 3.0 Motion Control: it copies the moves onto the person in your photo, at 720p in your photo's frame. Pet uses MiniMax H3 Max Recast: it puts your two pets into the AI cat reel, wide 16:9 at 768p. All three are K-pop AI dance video templates of about 15 seconds.
What prompt does the A2O LITE NEON AI trend use?
No creator of the trend shared a prompt: the covers are real dances, and the AI cat reel came with none. Our prompts start from the copy-ready Duo and Solo prompts of the AI template sites (keep each face, outfit and position, follow the reference clip's moves, no role swap, no extra dancers), with the group's name taken out, plus our tested words that keep your faces. It is the same idea as a NEON AI dance on any A2O LITE AI site, a K-pop dance AI prompt you never have to write, and the NEON dance AI starts from your photos.
How long is the video and what format is it?
All three make about 15 seconds. Duo is vertical 9:16 at 720p, Solo follows your photo's frame at 720p, and Pet is wide 16:9 at 768p. Each is an MP4 file with the song and no watermark.
