How to make the C-Walk AI Dance video on MakeViral

Everything runs in the browser. No editing app, no prompt to write, no watermark.

  1. Add your photo

Press "Create your own" and add you, head to feet. Take it with the camera or pick it from your library.

  2. Press Generate

The button shows the price. Kling 3.0 Motion Control takes the moves of the C-Walk AI dance clip and plays them with the one in your photo, in your photo's own scene, for about 12 seconds, with the reel's original sound. You write no prompt.

  3. Download or share

The video is ready in a few minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in your Library.

Which photo works best?

You need one photo: of yourself for Human, of your pet for Pet.

  • Human: stand up with your whole body in view, from the head to the feet, and the face turned to the camera. The C-Walk is all footwork, so the feet must be in the picture. The video keeps the place and frame of your photo, so stand where you want to dance.
  • No sunglasses, no mask and no beauty filter; nobody else in the photo.
  • Pet: a sharp photo with the whole animal in view and the face clear, in good light. Standing or sitting both work. The fur colors and markings come from this photo, so no blur and no second animal.
  • This template is for adults and pets. Use a photo of yourself, of an adult who agreed, or of your own pet. Never a celebrity or a stranger.

Where did the C-Walk AI Dance trend start?

The C-Walk is a fast footwork dance that started in Los Angeles hip-hop culture in the 1970s and 1980s. It came back on TikTok in late 2025, when C-Walk dance reels and tutorials filled the feeds again: a two-dancer reel by @electrobreakers of 27 November 2025 has 4.9 million views.

The AI part started in January 2026. On 17 January, the first "C-Walk with one photo" tutorials showed how a CapCut AI template turns a still picture into a C-Walk video. On 19 January, @sllykidchaos posted a man doing the C-Walk on a city crosswalk, made with an AI dance filter (462.9K views, with TikTok's AI label), and on 21 and 22 January two tutorials reached 5.7 million and 5.6 million plays. US Google searches for "c walk ai" hit 1,300 that month.

The trend never fully went away. Pets joined in: on 1 August 2026, an AI clip of a black-and-white cat called Oreo doing the C-Walk on its hind legs reached 696K views, and a new tutorial got 334K plays on 25 September. It is an evergreen dance now: one photo in, a clean C-Walk out.

The C-Walk AI Dance prompts

You do not need these: the one-tap flow runs them for you, together with the trend clip. [Image 1] and [Image 2] are your two photos, and [Video 1] is the trend clip the video copies.

Video prompt

Replace the character in the video with the person from the uploaded image. Keep actions, poses, facial expressions, camera movement and rhythm. Preserve the person's original facial features, maintain character consistency, no distortion, no glitches, no artifacts. The person dances in the place from the uploaded image, in the clothes and shoes from the uploaded image, not the blue bucket hat, the round glasses, the gold chain, the white printed sweater and the printed jeans of the man in the video, and keeps their own hair from the uploaded image. Follow the man's footwork and timing exactly: the quick heel-toe shuffles and crossover steps with the hands loosely at the chest, the kick to the side and the low dip, the V-steps out and in, then the turn with both arms out wide. Light, fast feet that stay close to the floor, knees soft, the upper body calm and cool. The hands stay relaxed and open, with no finger gestures. Keep the whole body in view from the head to the feet, both feet always in the frame, with natural balance. Exactly one person, no other people. One continuous shot, no cuts, no text, no captions, no logos.

Video prompt

Recreate the reference video [Video 1] shot for shot: the same living room with the dark wooden floor, the grey patterned rug, the grey storage box and the bookshelf behind, the same fixed phone camera at about knee height, the same framing, timing and moves, one continuous take with no cuts. The ONLY change: the dancing cat is now the pet in [Image 1]. The dancer = the pet in [Image 1], in every frame: the same species and breed, head shape, muzzle, eyes, ears, fur colors, fur length, markings and body shape as in [Image 1], with the natural body volume and proportions of that animal: never flattened, squashed, stretched or merged with anything, so its owner instantly recognizes it. It stands upright on its hind legs like a little person the whole time, also when it turns its back. Never drift back to the cat of the original video: not the coat, the face or the eyes of the cat in the video, and NO pink collar and no bow unless [Image 1] shows them. No clothes. If [Image 1] shows a dog or another animal, the dancer is that animal, with its own ears, muzzle and tail. It copies the cat's footwork in time with the reference, second by second: 0-2 s: facing the camera, front paws held at the chest, quick heel-toe steps on the spot. 2-6 s: crossover steps and V-steps, turning a little to one side and back to the front, elbows out, the tail swinging. 6-9 s: it shuffles sideways, turns its back to the camera and comes back around. 9-12 s: more quick footwork, one fast turn, and it ends facing the camera, standing tall. Real animal anatomy: furry front legs ending in round paws in their own fur, never human hands, no fingers. One head, two hind legs and two front legs, no extra legs or paws, one tail. Exactly one animal, no people. No text, no captions, no logos, no watermark.

What happens in your C-Walk AI video?

Both versions make 12 seconds of nonstop footwork in one continuous shot:

TimeHuman (your own place)Pet (a living room)
0-4 sQuick heel-toe shuffles and crossover steps, hands working at the chest.Facing the camera on its hind legs, front paws at the chest, quick heel-toe steps.
4-5 sA kick to the side, then a low dip.Crossover steps and V-steps, turning a little to the side.
5-9 sMore shuffles and V-steps on the beat.It shuffles sideways, shows its back and turns around.
9-12 sA turn with the arms out wide.A fast turn, and it ends facing the camera.

Human: Kling 3.0 Motion Control copies the moves of an AI dancer's C-Walk, not the dancer. You keep your own face, hair and clothes, and the clip plays in the place from your photo, at 720p in your photo's frame.

Pet: Seedance 2.5 puts your pet into the AI cat clip itself: the same room, the same steps on its hind legs, with your pet's own fur and face. Vertical 9:16 at 720p. It can take up to several minutes.

Both clips come with the instrumental West Coast beat of the AI cat clip, put back on after the run, and you can turn it off on the result screen. Press "Create your own" and pick Human or Pet; the exact price shows on the Generate button before you spend anything. Every run is a new take, so results differ.

C-Walk dance steps: what the AI copies

If you have looked for a C-Walk tutorial and given up, this is the short version. The C-Walk dance moves are footwork first: the upper body stays calm while the feet draw quick shapes on the floor.

  • Heel-toe: one foot taps the heel, then the toe, as the other foot slides. This C-Walk heel toe move is the base of every combo.
  • V-step: the feet step out wide and back in, so they draw a V on the floor.
  • Shuffle: small, fast slides from side to side; the C-Walk shuffle keeps the rhythm between the bigger steps.
  • Crossover and turn: one foot crosses in front of the other, and the dancer spins out of it.

How to C-Walk for real? Start slow with the heel-toe, add the V-step, then link them; any C-Walk for beginners video on YouTube or TikTok shows the same C-Walk steps. Want the C-Walk footwork without the practice? That is what the C-Walk AI video does: the AI plays the C-Walk dance steps with your body, and you never have to learn the C-Walk hip hop dance yourself.

C-Walk AI filter, CapCut template or MakeViral?

Most C-Walk AI videos on TikTok come from a closed CapCut template or an AI dance filter: you pick the C-Walk effect, upload one photo and the app makes the clip. The tutorials call it "C-Walk con una foto" in Spanish, "video cwalk IA" or "C-Walk IA", and they keep coming back in the C-Walk trend TikTok feed. A C-Walk filter or a C-Walk dance filter like that works on a phone, inside the app that holds the template.

MakeViral is a C-Walk AI video generator on the web: one photo, no app to install and no C-Walk AI template to hunt for. Human copies an AI dancer's C-Walk take onto you with Kling 3.0 Motion Control, a model that moves the person in your photo like the dancer in the clip; Pet copies an AI cat's C-Walk with your own pet. The result is an MP4 file with no watermark, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts, so you can post it as a C-Walk meme, a C-Walk gif or a full C-Walk video.

What goes wrong, and how do you fix it?

ProblemFix
The feet blur or slideUse a sharp photo with both feet in view and some floor around you, then run it again.
The dance looks small or stiff (Human)Kling keeps your photo's frame. Use a standing, full-body photo, not a selfie or a seated photo.
The pet drops onto four legsRun it again with a photo where the pet's whole body shows; a standing pet often works best.
The pet's markings change when it turnsThe prompt keeps your pet's own coat; a sharp, well-lit photo of the markings helps.
Paws look like handsThe prompt asks for real furry paws. Run it again.

FAQ

C-Walk AI Dance trend questions

What is the C-Walk AI trend?
It is the TikTok trend where one photo becomes a C-Walk dance video. A CapCut template and AI dance filters started it in January 2026 (two tutorials passed 5.5 million plays), and pet versions followed. MakeViral makes your own C-Walk AI dance from one photo of you or your pet.
How do I make a C-Walk AI video?
Press "Create your own", pick Human or Pet and add one photo. Press Generate; the button shows the price first. You get a 12-second C-Walk AI video with no prompt to write and no app to install. That is all there is to how to make a C-Walk AI video here; the C-Walk AI tutorial is these three steps.
Can my cat or dog do the C-Walk?
Yes. Pick Pet and add one clear photo of your cat or dog. It stands up on its hind legs and does the steps of a viral AI cat doing the C-Walk, the C-Walk cat clip of 1 August 2026, with its own fur, face and markings. A C-Walk dog works the same way. This C-Walk cat AI version is our most fun one.
What is the C-Walk dance, and where does it come from?
The C-Walk is a footwork dance from Los Angeles hip-hop culture of the 1970s and 1980s. That is the C-Walk dance origin; in the trend, the C-Walk meaning is simply the dance: quick heel-toe shuffles, V-steps, shuffles and turns. Also spelled cwalk, as in the cwalk dance and cwalk tutorial posts.
Is there a C-Walk AI app or a C-Walk CapCut template?
The trend started with a C-Walk CapCut template and AI dance filters on phones. MakeViral works in the browser instead: it is a C-Walk AI generator and C-Walk dance AI generator in one page, with no C-Walk AI app to download. The C-Walk AI dance generator gives you an MP4 you post anywhere, also as a C-Walk AI video generator TikTok clip.
Do I need a C-Walk AI prompt?
No. The creators shared no prompt (the trend runs on closed templates), so MakeViral's prompts are our own reel-copy words: they keep your face, clothes or fur and copy the footwork. You only add a photo.
Does the video have music?
Yes. Both versions come with the beat of the viral AI cat clip, an instrumental West Coast hip-hop track with no words, put back on after the run. You can turn it off on the result screen and pick a C-Walk song from the TikTok sound library instead. The track belongs to its owners, and MakeViral gives you no rights to it, so check the platform's music rules before you use the clip in an ad.
Which AI models make the videos?
Human uses Kling 3.0 Motion Control: it copies the moves of an AI dancer's C-Walk onto the person in your photo, in your photo's place, at 720p. Pet uses Seedance 2.5: it puts your pet into the AI cat clip itself, vertical at 720p, and can take up to several minutes.
How long is the video and what format is it?
About 12 seconds, vertical, as an MP4 file at 720p with the beat and no watermark. Human keeps your photo's frame; Pet is 9:16.
Is the C-Walk AI video real?
No. The clips are AI-made, and so are the trend clips on this page. Keep the platform's AI label on when you post, and only use a photo of yourself, an adult who agreed, or your own pet.
