The singing dog AI trend is a 10-second clip from one pet photo: your dog stands upright in a white bathtub in a towel, holds a hair dryer and a brush, dries its own fur and sings a big, dramatic note with its eyes closed. A cat version works the same way. This template makes it from your photo.

How to make the Singing Dog video on MakeViral

Everything runs in the browser. No editing app, no prompt to write, no watermark.

  1. Add your photo

Press "Create your own" and add your dog. Take it with the camera or pick it from your library.

  2. Press Generate

The button shows the price. Kling 3.0 Omni puts your photos into the Singing Dog trend clip and copies it shot by shot for 10 seconds, with the reel's original song. You write no prompt.

  3. Download or share

The video is ready in a few minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in your Library.

Which photo works best?

Upload one photo of your pet: your dog in the Dog version, your cat in the Cat version (any pet works in either).

  • Face first. The clip is a close shot from the chest up, so the face matters most: sharp, in good light, with both eyes and the ears in view.
  • Front of the body. A photo where your pet sits or stands facing the camera gives the right fur colors and markings on the chest and the front legs.
  • One pet only. With two pets in the photo, the AI picks one or mixes them.
  • Real colors. Skip filters, costumes and heavy shadows: the clip copies the fur colors from your photo.

A wet dog straight out of the bath is fine, but a dry, fluffy photo shows the real coat best.

Where did the Singing Dog trend start?

The singing dog trend started on 14 October 2026 with a phone app's AI template called "Singing Pets" (a CapCut template by @Shjn). The first post came from the UK: @tinaverrico's Rottweiler Charlie, with a hair dryer held high and its mouth wide open, reached 51,700 views and 2,500 shares. On 15 October @kblackwell1975's grey dog Oakley got 38,100 views, and on 16 October a boxer and a goldendoodle followed with 34,100 and 10,900. Every post uses the same sound, a big operatic singing voice, and commenters joke about famous opera tenors.

By 17 October the sound had 121 videos from dog and cat owners, and the first tutorials explained how to make your pet sing from one photo. People tag it #dogblowdry, #singingdogtrend and #petsingingtrend.

The idea is older than the template: AI "shower concert" clips of a dog singing in the shower went viral from December 2025, such as a chihuahua clip with 4.2 million views. The new trend adds the towel, the hair dryer and the brush, so the dog with hair dryer looks like it is getting ready for a big night.

  1. An AI "shower concert" clip of a chihuahua singing in the shower reaches 4.2 million views; dog singing in the shower becomes a steady AI meme. TikTok

  2. The first post of the template: a Rottweiler in a towel blow-dries its fur and sings in the bathtub; it reaches 51,700 views. TikTok

  3. A grey dog named Oakley does the same clip and gets 38,100 views, the second big post of the trend. TikTok

  4. The first tutorials show how to make your pet sing from one photo; cats join the trend, and a boxer clip passes 34,000 views. TikTok

  5. The template's sound has 121 videos, and #dogblowdry has 122 videos with 169,700 views.

Video prompt

Replace the dog in the video with the pet in the first image. The grey short-haired dog with white flecks on its chest from the video must not appear in any frame. The pet that stands upright in the white bathtub with a white towel wrapped around its waist, holds the black hair dryer in its front paws, brushes its own head and sings with its mouth wide open is the pet in the first image, whether it is a dog, a cat or another animal: the same species and breed, face, eyes, ears, muzzle, fur colors, fur length, markings and size as in the first image. A furry friend that sings: the pet is the singer. Timing, second by second, as in the original video: 0-1 s: the pet holds the black hair dryer in its front paws, the warm air blows on its face, and it looks up at the dryer with its mouth half open. 1-3 s: it closes its eyes and sings a big note, mouth wide open, like an opera singer. 3-4.5 s: it lifts one front paw with a blue hairbrush, brushes the fur on top of its head, glances at the camera and keeps singing. 4.5-8 s: it turns its face into the warm air of the hair dryer and sings with its eyes closed and its mouth wide open. 8-10 s: it turns to the camera, lifts its head toward the ceiling and holds the last long note. The pet keeps its own look from the first image in every frame, with the natural body volume and proportions of that animal: never flattened, squashed, stretched or merged with anything. The fur is freshly washed, a little damp, and moves in the warm air. The mouth moves like real singing: wide open on the long notes, closing a little between them. No grey coat and no white chest flecks unless the first image shows them. The white tiles, the bathtub, the towel, the hair dryer, the brush, the light and the camera stay as in the video. One pet only, one head, natural teeth and tongue. No new text, no logos, no watermark.

Video prompt

Replace the cat in the video with the pet in the first image. The orange-and-white long-haired cat from the video must not appear in any frame. The pet that stands upright in the bathroom with a white towel wrapped around its waist, holds the black hair dryer in one front paw, brushes the top of its head with a black hairbrush in the other and sings with its mouth wide open is the pet in the first image, whether it is a cat, a dog or another animal: the same species and breed, face, eyes, ears, muzzle, whiskers, fur colors, fur length, markings and size as in the first image. A furry friend that sings: the pet is the singer. Timing, second by second, as in the original video: 0-0.5 s: the pet squints in the warm air of the hair dryer, its mouth half open. 0.5-6 s: it sings a big note with its eyes closed and its mouth wide open, like an opera singer, while it brushes the top of its head with the brush and blows it dry with the hair dryer. 6-7 s: it opens its eyes for a moment and lifts the brush away. 7-10 s: it faces the camera, spreads its front legs wide, lifts its head toward the ceiling and holds the last long note, the hair dryer still in one paw. The pet keeps its own look from the first image in every frame, with the natural body volume and proportions of that animal: never flattened, squashed, stretched or merged with anything. The fur is freshly washed, fluffy, and moves in the warm air. The mouth moves like real singing: wide open on the long notes, closing a little between them. No orange-and-white coat unless the first image shows it. The grey tiles, the glass shower, the towel, the hair dryer, the brush, the light and the camera stay as in the video. One pet only, one head, natural teeth and tongue. No new text, no logos, no watermark.

How many credits does it cost?

You pay per video in credits, and the create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. The one-tap price covers the video, made in one step from your photos and the trend clip, charged once. One video is 40 credits, so the smallest one-time pack that covers it is $9.99 for 100 credits, with no subscription. The cheaper models are there if you run the prompts by hand in AI Video.

One-time packs and plans are on the pricing page. A failed video gives its credits back.

What happens in the clip?

Both versions copy a real clip of the trend shot for shot, with your pet in it. One fixed shot, 10 seconds, vertical:

TimeDog versionCat version
0 to 1 sYour dog holds the hair dryer and looks up into the warm airYour cat squints in the warm air
1 to 4.5 sEyes closed, mouth wide open on a big note; it brushes the top of its headEyes closed, mouth wide open; it brushes its head with one paw and dries it with the other
4.5 to 8 sIt sings into the hair dryerIt keeps singing and lifts the brush away
8 to 10 sIt lifts its head to the ceiling for the last long noteIt spreads its arms wide for the last long note

The result comes with the trend's own sound, so your singing dog sings the same song as every post of the trend. The mouth follows the clip, not each word, so it is a fun dog singing video, not exact lip sync.

Dog or cat, Standard or Best

Dog uses a dog clip of the trend and Cat uses a cat clip. The AI keeps your pet's own species, so a cat photo in the Dog version stays a cat: pick the one whose clip you like. Each version has two qualities:

  • Standard edits the clip with your pet and is ready in a few minutes.
  • Best uses the model we use for most pet reel copies. It costs more and takes 5 to 15 minutes. Pick it when Standard brings the clip's grey dog or orange cat back, or gets your pet's markings wrong.

The Generate button shows the exact credit price before you spend anything.

Posting tips, sound and hashtags

Your video already has the trend's singing sound, and you can turn it off on the result screen. Post it as a TikTok or a Reel and keep the AI label on: the first posts of the trend all say it is AI.

Caption ideas: "Getting ready like a superstar", "Bath time concert, front row seats", "When the bathroom acoustics hit". A dog singing TikTok does best with the pet's name in the caption.

FAQ

Singing Dog trend questions

What is the singing dog AI trend?
It is a TikTok trend from October 2026: an AI clip from one pet photo where your dog stands in the bathtub in a towel, dries its fur with a hair dryer, brushes it and sings a big note. People call it the dog blow-dry trend, the pet singing trend or the dog bathroom concert. MakeViral makes it from your photo, for a dog or a cat.
How do I make my dog sing with AI?
Pick the Dog version, upload one photo of your dog and press Generate. You get a 10-second vertical video where your dog sings with the trend's sound. That is how to make my dog sing AI clips without editing: the photo is all you need, and you can make a picture of your dog sing in a few minutes.
Is there an app to make my dog sing?
MakeViral works in your browser on the phone or the computer, so you need no app to make your dog sing. The trend started as a phone app's AI template, and many people look for a dog singing app or an AI pet singing app; here you upload the photo, make the AI dog singing video and download it.
Does it work with a cat?
Yes. The Cat version copies a cat clip of the same trend: your cat stands in a towel, blow-dries its fur and sings. Singing cat AI clips, like the cat singing in the shower memes, are a big part of the trend, and cat singing opera clips are a classic. You get an AI cat singing video with the trend's sound. Any pet works in either version.
What song does the dog sing?
Every post of the trend uses the same sound: a big, operatic singing voice that came with the template. Your result gets that sound back after the run, so your dog sings the trend's song like every dog singing opera TikTok of the trend. You can turn the sound off on the result screen.
Is this the CapCut Singing Pets template?
It is the same trend. The singing pets CapCut template is closed and shows no prompt, so MakeViral copies a real clip of the trend shot for shot with your pet instead. You need no template, no editing and no prompt: upload the photo and generate.
Is it a filter?
Not a live filter. It is an AI video made from one photo, so it works with any pet photo you already have. People still search for a dog singing filter, a cat singing filter or a pet singing filter: this is the same effect, made as a video.
Why is the singing dog such a big meme?
Two old favorites meet in it: the dog singing meme (and the cat singing meme), and the dog in towel meme of a pet wrapped up after its bath. The trend adds the dog hair dryer meme on top, a dog with a blow dryer that looks like a diva getting ready, and the big operatic voice turns it into a dog singing opera meme. On TikTok, a dog singing meme with the pet's name in the caption gets the most comments.
Can other animals sing?
Yes. Singing animal AI clips work with rabbits, hamsters and other pets too: the AI keeps the animal in your photo. Results are best with dogs and cats, because the trend clips show a dog and a cat.
Is the video real?
No. It is an AI video made from your photo, and your pet never has to touch a hair dryer. The clips of the trend, including the examples on this page, are AI-made too. Keep the AI label on when you post.
How long does it take, and what does it cost?
Standard takes a few minutes and Best 5 to 15 minutes. The Generate button shows the exact credit price before you spend anything; Best costs more. If a run fails, the credits come back.
