Which photo works best?

You need one photo: of yourself for Garage and Quince, of your pet for Pet.

  • Garage: stand up with your head to your shoes in view, the face turned to the camera and your arms away from your body. The dance plays in the place of your photo, so for the empty parking garage look of the trend, take the photo in a parking garage. Your clothes stay.
  • Quince: a sharp photo where your face is big and clear (head and shoulders is enough), in good light, with no sunglasses. You go into the party clip itself.
  • Pet: a sharp photo with the whole animal and its face in view. Fur colors and markings come from the photo.
  • Use a photo of yourself, of an adult who agreed, or of your own pet. Never a child, a celebrity or a stranger.

Where did the BbY WOW Dance trend start?

The dance started on TikTok on 24 August 2026, when @bigbowee posted two friends doing it with a red cup in hand and the caption "Dime dime baby", the words of the song's hook. That clip had 15.3 million views by 14 October. In the same days, clips of the creator known as Maestro Shifu doing the moves spread fast, and many tutorials credit the dance to him, so people also call it the Shifu dance. Friends, coworkers and dance schools copied it through September: a trio by @khristelaldama passed 14 million views, and a slowed, mirrored tutorial by @singsingaduck reached 4.5 million. KAROL G posted the dance with her crew on 9 October.

AI versions came early. On 15 September @weendycruzmx posted two AI-made cats doing the routine in a shopping mall (391,500 views by 15 October). In October an older party clip came back with the song: a young man at a quinceañera bites a sweet bread, stares at the camera with full cheeks and dances off. Green screen templates of this "bby wow guy" meme went up on 12 and 13 October. By 14 October, #bbywow had 109,241 TikTok videos and 848.5 million views.

Replace the character in the video with the person from the uploaded image. Keep actions, poses, facial expressions, camera movement and rhythm. Preserve the person's original facial features, maintain character consistency, no distortion, no glitches, no artifacts. The person dances in the place from the uploaded image, in the clothes and shoes from the uploaded image, not the black T-shirt, the black shorts or the white socks of the dancer in the video, and keeps their own hair from the uploaded image. Follow the dancer's moves and timing exactly: the bouncy palms-up shrug, one arm and then the other slicing across the chest, the body roll with the hands low at the hips, both hands held on the head, then a few steps toward the camera and a playful point right at the lens. Keep the whole body in view until the last steps, with natural balance and stable ground contact. Exactly one person, no other people. One continuous shot, no cuts, no text, no captions, no logos.

Recreate the reference video [Video 1] shot for shot: the same quinceañera party hall at night with purple, pink and green party lights, white curtains, flower centerpieces, chairs and guests in party clothes, the same handheld phone camera, the same square framing, timing and moves. The ONLY change: the young man with the short dark hair in the black polo shirt who dances toward the camera, bites a sweet bread, stares into the lens with full cheeks and dances away is now the person in [Image 1]. The party guest = the person in [Image 1], in EVERY shot: copy the exact face from [Image 1] - face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles exactly as in the photo. The party guest wears the clothes from [Image 1]; if [Image 1] shows only the head or the upper body, a plain dark party shirt. The same real person in every frame, from the first second to the last, so their friends instantly recognize them, also in the big close-up while they chew. Never morph, never drift back to the original young man's face. NO black polo shirt with a round logo, NO white STAFF letters, NO sleeve print and NO silver chain unless [Image 1] shows them. If [Image 1] shows an animal, the party guest is that animal standing upright, with its own face, fur and markings and the natural body volume and proportions of that animal: never flattened, squashed, stretched or merged with anything. The party guest copies the young man's moves and face second by second: 0-1.5 s: walks in from the left and dances toward the camera, shoulders swaying to the beat, between the guests. 1.5-2.5 s: close to the camera, lifts a small round sweet bread to the mouth with one hand. 2.5-4.5 s: big close-up: takes a big bite and chews with puffed cheeks, eyes wide, staring straight into the lens, dead serious. 4.5-6 s: still chewing, turns around and dances away into the crowd, back to the camera. The other guests stay as they are in the video, small and soft in the background; never put the face from [Image 1] on a guest. Anatomy rules: one head only, on the party guest's shoulders. Two arms and two hands, five fingers on each hand, one sweet bread. No text, no captions, no emojis, no logos, no watermark.

Image 1 replaces the orange cat in the black backwards cap on the left who dances upright on its hind legs, in every shot, also when it turns to the side or its back is to the camera. Keep the pet's face, ears, fur colors, fur length and markings from image 1, on the whole body, the head, the legs and the tail, with no orange stripes unless image 1 shows them. The pet wears the same black backwards cap. The pet keeps the natural body volume and proportions of its own animal: never flattened, squashed, stretched or merged with anything. If image 1 shows a dog or another animal, that animal takes the same place, standing upright on its hind legs and doing the same paw moves, with its own ears and muzzle. The white cat with the pink flower on the right stays exactly as in the video, with its own face, in every shot. Keep the shopping mall, the shiny stone floor, the ceiling lights, the dance moves, the motion and the camera exactly as in the video.

Garage: Kling 3.0 Motion Control copies the body moves of a solo take of the dance, not the person in it. You keep your own face, hair and clothes, at 720p in your photo's frame. It ends on the point at the camera; no sunglasses appear.

Quince: Seedance 2.5 puts you into the party clip of the bby wow guy dance itself, shot for shot, at 720p. The clip is square, like the meme copies people share. The other guests stay in the background.

Pet: your pet takes the place of the orange cat in the black cap, cap included, and the white cat stays as its dance partner. Vertical 9:16.

All three come with the trend's song, put back on after the run, and you can turn it off on the result screen. Press "Create your own" and pick a version; the exact price shows on the Generate button before you spend anything. Every run is a new take, so results differ.

Garage, Quince or Pet: which one should you make?

The BbY WOW trend has two jokes, and the versions follow them.

  • Garage is the dance itself, the dime dime baby dance that friends and coworkers film everywhere. It is the one the BbY WOW dance challenge is about, so pick it if you want the moves. Stand in a parking garage, a hallway or an empty street for the photo, and it looks like the clips on TikTok.
  • Quince is the bby wow guy dance, also known as the guy dancing at quince meme: one sweet bread, one long stare, one exit. It works best with a deadpan face, so it is the one to send to friends who go to every party for the food.
  • Pet is the BbY WOW cat clip with your own pet in it. Cats look closest to the reel; dogs stand upright for the same moves.

Caption ideas: "When the DJ plays BbY WOW", "Me at the quince I was not invited to", "My cat when the food bowl is full", "Dime dime baby". Or write your own.

More dance trends: the Toc Toc dance and the Bad Times trend work the same way from one photo.

Which sound and hashtags should you post it with?

Your clip comes with the BbY WOW sound of the clip each version copies, so it is ready to post. The Quince clip has the sped-up version that the bby wow meme uses. You can turn the song off on the result screen and add a sound when you post instead. The song belongs to its owners, and MakeViral gives you no rights to it. Music rules differ from platform to platform, so check them before you use the clip in an ad or a paid post.

Hashtags: #bbywow is the big one, with 109,241 TikTok videos and 848.5 million views on 14 October 2026. Many BbY WOW TikTok posts also use #babywow and #maestroshifu, and posts about the BbY WOW KAROL G trend add #karolg. The same tags work on Instagram Reels. Keep the platform's AI label on.

What goes wrong, and how do you fix it?

ProblemFix
The face looks less like youUse a sharp photo with the face turned to the camera and good light, then run it again. For Quince, the face should be big in the photo.
A black T-shirt with a logo or black shorts show up (Garage)The dancer of the reference clip wears them. The prompt bans them unless your photo has them; run it again.
The hands blur or the feet slide (Garage)Common in fast arm moves. Use a full-body photo where you stand, then run it again.
A black polo, a chain or a STAFF print shows up (Quince)The man in the meme wears them. The prompt bans them unless your photo shows them; run it again.
Your pet keeps orange stripes or pointed cat ears (Pet)The cat in the reel has both. Use a sharp photo where the fur and the ears are clear, then run it again.
The mouth moves, but not to the wordsThe versions copy the moves and the faces of the clips, not the lyrics, so there is no exact lip sync.
The video model refuses the photoSome photos get refused. The credits come back; try another photo.
FAQ

BbY WOW Dance trend questions

What is the BbY WOW trend?
It is a TikTok trend from late August 2026: people do a short dance to "BbY WOW" by KAROL G, Judeline and rusowsky, with a palms-up shrug, arm slices, hands on the head and a point at the camera. A second joke, the bby wow guy meme, puts the song on an old quince party clip. By 14 October 2026, #bbywow had 109,241 TikTok videos and 848.5 million views.
Who started the BbY WOW dance?
The first big clip is by @bigbowee, posted on 24 August 2026 with the caption "Dime dime baby" (15.3 million views by 14 October), which is why it is also called the dime dime baby dance. Many tutorials credit the moves to the creator known as Maestro Shifu, and Maestro Shifu BbY WOW clips spread at the same time, so people search for the Shifu dance too.
Is it BbY WOW or Baby Wow?
Both. The song title is written BbY WOW, but many people search for the Baby Wow dance, the Baby Wow trend or a Baby Wow dance tutorial, and the Baby Wow meme for the quince clip. It is the same Baby Wow dance trend, and on TikTok #babywow is common too. Some call it the Baby Wow KAROL G trend.
What is the bby wow guy meme?
A short clip from a quinceañera party: a young man dances toward the camera, bites a sweet bread, chews with puffed cheeks while he stares into the lens, then turns and dances away into the crowd. The clip went around in September 2025 and came back in October 2026 with the BbY WOW song, as the guy dancing at quince meme. Pick Quince to put yourself in it.
How do I make the BbY WOW dance AI video?
Press "Create your own", pick Garage, Quince or Pet, and add one clear photo of yourself or your pet. Press Generate; the button shows the price first. You get a BbY WOW AI video of about 6 to 10 seconds with the song. You write no prompt, and the video waits in your Library when it is ready.
Do I have to learn the dance first?
No. You need no BbY WOW dance tutorial: the Garage version plays the whole routine from one photo, from the shrug to the point at the camera, so you never film yourself.
Can my cat or dog do the BbY WOW dance?
Yes. Pick Pet. It copies the most viewed BbY WOW cat reel, by @weendycruzmx: your pet stands upright in a shopping mall and dances next to a white AI cat. A cat looks closest to the reel; a dog or another pet does the same moves upright.
Where does the background of my video come from?
Garage keeps the place from your photo: Kling 3.0 Motion Control takes only the moves, so take the photo in a parking garage for the look of the trend. Quince keeps the party hall of the meme, and Pet keeps the shopping mall of the AI cat reel, because you or your pet go into those clips.
Will the people from the original clips be in my video?
No one takes your place. Garage copies only the moves of a solo dance clip, so the dancer from it never shows. In Quince you replace the man of the meme, and the party guests stay small in the background. Use a photo of yourself or of an adult who agreed, never a child, a celebrity or a stranger.
Is it the same as the BbY WOW dance challenge?
Garage is the BbY WOW dance challenge routine that people post on TikTok. The BbY WOW AI trend adds the other versions: you as the quince guy, or your pet doing the moves.
Which AI models make the videos?
Garage uses Kling 3.0 Motion Control: it copies the moves of a solo take of the dance onto the person in your photo, at 720p in your photo's frame. Quince uses Seedance 2.5, which puts you into the meme clip itself at 720p and can take up to several minutes. Pet uses H3 Recast, which puts your pet into the AI cat reel.
What prompt does the BbY WOW trend use?
No creator of the trend shared a prompt, and the AI template apps keep theirs closed. The Garage version uses the Motion Control recreate prompt of the model's own app, plus a few lines that keep your own look; Quince and Pet use our prompts in the same tested style as our other reel copies. You write no prompt yourself.
How long is the video and what format is it?
Garage makes about 9 seconds at 720p in the frame of your photo, so a vertical photo gives a vertical clip. Quince makes about 6 seconds, square like the meme. Pet makes 10 seconds, vertical 9:16. All are MP4 files with the song, with no watermark.
