The SaWaDiKa dance is the TikTok trend to the chorus of LISA's 2026 song "SaWaDiKa": palms pressed together like the Thai greeting, sharp diagonal arm accents, kicks and hip sways. From one photo, MakeViral plays the routine with you in your own place, or puts your cat or dog into the AI cat version of the dance.

How to make the SaWaDiKa Dance video on MakeViral

Everything runs in the browser. No editing app, no prompt to write, no watermark.

  1. Add your photo

Press "Create your own" and add you, head to feet. Take it with the camera or pick it from your library.

  2. Press Generate

The button shows the price. Kling 3.0 Motion Control takes the moves of the SaWaDiKa dance clip and plays them with the one in your photo, in your photo's own scene, for about 15 seconds, with the reel's original sound. You write no prompt.

  3. Download or share

The video is ready in a few minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in your Library.

Which photo works best?

You need one photo: of yourself for Human, of your pet for Pet.

  • Human: stand up, with your whole body in view from head to feet, the face turned to the camera and both arms away from the body. The dance uses the arms, the hands and the legs, so nothing should cover them. The video keeps the place and the frame of your photo, so a vertical photo with some empty space around you looks best.
  • Wear what you want to dance in: your clothes stay. No sunglasses, no mask, no hat that hides the face, no beauty filter, and nobody else in the photo.
  • Pet: a sharp photo with the whole animal in view and the face clear. Fur colors and markings come from the photo. Cats look closest to the reel; a dog stands upright for the same moves.
  • This template is for adults and pets. Use a photo of yourself, of an adult who agreed, or of your own pet. Never a celebrity or a stranger.

Where did the SaWaDiKa Dance trend start?

"SaWaDiKa" is a song by LISA, the Thai member of BLACKPINK. Its video came out on 3 to 4 September 2026 (the date depends on the time zone) and passed 100 million YouTube views just over 48 hours later, the fastest music video of the year to get there (Bandwagon). It passed 200 million views on 8 October, about 34 days after its release, and on 27 September LISA won Best Pop at the MTV VMAs and sang it live for the first time (Gulf News).

The dance took off on TikTok the same day. Dance creators posted the chorus from release day: @nadianimitt's take of 4 September has 4.0 million views, and @le_lis_lacourt's "SaWaDiKa part 2" of 6 September has 3.2 million. A Brazilian funk remix of the dance followed (@patriciamulyana, "Sawadika Brazil remix", 11 September, 229,100 views), and slowed, mirrored dance tutorials taught the moves step by step.

AI versions came right after. On 5 September an AI-made ginger cat in glowing cat-ear headphones danced the SaWaDiKa moves in a purple-lit bedroom (@77_qiqi_), the reel this page's Pet copies, and AI cats, dogs and AI-made dancers kept coming, up to CapCut AI templates in October. By 16 October 2026, #lisa_sawadika had 12,051 TikTok videos and 478.2 million views, and #lisasawadika 4,197 videos and 34.3 million views.

Strictly replicate the camera movements and actions of the characters in the video. Replace the character in the video with the person from the uploaded image. Keep actions, poses, facial expressions and rhythm. Preserve the person's original facial features, maintain character consistency, no distortion, no glitches, no artifacts. The person dances in the place from the uploaded image, in the clothes and shoes from the uploaded image, not the white lace corset top, the silver belt or the black wide-leg pants of the dancer in the video, and keeps their own hair from the uploaded image, not a dark red bob. Follow the dancer's moves and timing exactly: the palms pressed together high above the head, the quick turn with one arm up, the sharp diagonal arm accents, the knee lifts and the kicks to the side, the hip sways with one hand at the waist, the hand flicks by the face, the palms pressed together at the chest in a Thai greeting, both arms thrown up in a V and the hands behind the head at the end. Keep the whole body in view from head to feet, with natural balance and stable ground contact. Exactly one person, no other people. One continuous shot, no cuts, no text, no captions, no logos.

Recreate the reference video [Video 1] shot for shot: the same bedroom at night with the purple and blue light, the bed with the lilac covers on the left, the shelf of records on the right, the grey shaggy rug on the wooden floor, the same fixed camera, the same framing, timing and dance moves, one continuous take with no cuts. The ONLY change: the ginger-and-white cat who dances upright is now the pet in [Image 1]. The dancer = the pet in [Image 1], in every frame: the same species and breed, head shape, muzzle, eyes, ears, fur colors, fur length, markings and body shape as in [Image 1], with the natural body volume and proportions of that animal: never flattened, squashed, stretched or merged with anything, so its owner instantly recognizes it from the first second to the last. It stands upright on its hind legs like a person the whole time. Never drift back to the cat of the original video: no ginger-and-white coat and no ginger striped tail unless [Image 1] shows them. The pet wears the same glowing light-blue headphones with little cat ears on its head, and nothing else: its own fur from head to toe. If [Image 1] shows a dog or another animal, that animal dances in the same place with the same moves, with its own ears and muzzle. The pet reproduces the cat's full dance frame by frame with the same timing, with a happy, playful face. Matching the reference second by second: 0-1 s: it stands upright facing the camera, front paws at the chest, then presses both front paws together high above its head. 1-2 s: one front paw stretched up to the side, a hind leg kicked back, then both paws to its face. 2-3.5 s: a quick turn to the side with a kick, one paw tucked at the chest, then back to the camera. 3.5-5 s: a wide stance, the front paws held out low, sharp little paw accents from side to side. 5-7 s: hip sways and small steps, one knee lifted, one paw swept across the body. 7-10 s: hip sways with the paws on the belly, then one paw on the hip and the other paw up to the head. 10-12 s: one paw up by the face, then both paws to the face. 12-13 s: both front paws pressed together at the chest like a Thai greeting, then crossed at the chest. 13-15 s: both front paws thrown up high, then behind the head, then down at the sides with small steps. The pet keeps real animal anatomy: furry front legs ending in round paws covered in its own fur, never human hands, no bare skin, no fingers, also when the paws press together. One head only, two hind legs and two front legs, no extra legs or paws. No text, no captions, no logos, no watermark, no people, no extra animals.

How many credits does it cost?

You pay per video in credits, and the create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. The one-tap price covers the video, made in one step from your photos and the trend clip, charged once. One video is 60 credits, so the smallest one-time pack that covers it is $9.99 for 100 credits, with no subscription. The cheaper models are there if you run the prompts by hand in AI Video.

SaWaDiKa meaning: why the palms come together

What does SaWaDiKa mean? It is LISA's spelling of "sawatdee ka" (สวัสดีค่ะ), the everyday Thai greeting. "Sawatdee" means hello (and goodbye), and "ka" is the polite word a woman puts at the end; a man says "sawatdee krap", which is why people also search "sawadikap". It is also spelled sawadeeka or sawadee ka, so some call this the sawadee ka dance. The SaWaDiKa meaning in English is simply a polite "hello". The greeting comes with the wai, the palms pressed together at the chest with a small bow, and that is the move the SaWaDiKa dance opens and closes with.

This page does not print the SaWaDiKa lyrics: the song belongs to its owners. Your clip comes with the 15 seconds of the SaWaDiKa song that the dance is cut to.

Which sound and hashtags should you post it with?

Your clip comes with the song, the same seconds of the chorus the dance is cut to, so it is ready to post. You can turn the song off on the result screen and pick the SaWaDiKa TikTok song or the Brazilian funk remix when you post instead. The song belongs to its owners, and MakeViral gives you no rights to it. Music rules differ from platform to platform, so check them before you use the clip in an ad or a paid post.

Hashtags: #lisa_sawadika is the biggest SaWaDiKa TikTok tag, with 12,051 videos and 478.2 million views on 16 October 2026, then #lisasawadika (4,197 videos, 34.3 million views) and #sawadikadance (195 videos). #sawadika works too, but it is an older, mixed tag. The same tags work on Instagram Reels. Keep the platform's AI label on.

FAQ

SaWaDiKa Dance trend questions

What is the SaWaDiKa dance?
It is the TikTok dance trend to the chorus of "SaWaDiKa", the song LISA released in September 2026: palms pressed together above the head and at the chest like the Thai greeting, sharp diagonal arm accents, kicks, hip sways and quick side steps. By 16 October 2026 #lisa_sawadika had 12,051 TikTok videos, and cats, dogs and AI-made dancers do it too.
What does SaWaDiKa mean?
Sawadika is LISA's spelling of "sawatdee ka", the Thai hello a woman says (a man says "sawatdee krap"). That is the whole SaWaDiKa meaning in English: a polite hello. The SaWaDiKa LISA meaning is a greeting from her home country, and the dance's palms-together move is the Thai wai that goes with it.
Is it spelled sawadika or sawadeeka?
Both are used. The song title is "SaWaDiKa", and the Thai greeting is also spelled sawadeeka or sawatdee ka. People search the sawadeeka song and sawadeeka LISA too; it is the same song and the same dance.
What song is used in the SaWaDiKa trend?
It is "SaWaDiKa" by LISA (Lalisa Manobal), the SaWaDiKa LISA song from September 2026, also posted as the SaWaDiKa TikTok song and in a Brazilian funk remix. A MakeViral clip comes with the same 15 seconds of the song the dance uses, and you can turn it off on the result screen. The song belongs to its owners, and MakeViral gives you no rights to it.
What is the SaWaDiKa song meaning, and are the lyrics in the video?
The title is a Thai "hello", so the SaWaDiKa song meaning starts with a greeting; for the rest, see a lyrics site. This page does not print the SaWaDiKa lyrics, and your video carries the song's sound, not the words on screen.
Where can I watch the SaWaDiKa video and LISA's own dance?
The official SaWaDiKa video and a LISA SaWaDiKa dance performance video are on her YouTube channel. MakeViral does not use them: the Human version copies a dance creator's take of the moves, and the Pet version copies an AI cat reel.
How do I make the SaWaDiKa dance AI video?
Press "Create your own", pick Human or Pet, and add one clear photo of yourself or your pet. Press Generate; the button shows the price first. You get a SaWaDiKa AI video of about 15 seconds with the song. It is the SaWaDiKa AI dance trend you see on TikTok, with your own face or your own pet, and no CapCut template or prompt to write.
Can my cat or dog do the SaWaDiKa dance?
Yes. Pick Pet. It copies the AI cat reel by @77_qiqi_: your pet stands up in a purple-lit bedroom and does the SaWaDiKa cat dance, with its paws together above its head, kicks and hip sways. It works as a SaWaDiKa dog dance too: a dog stands upright for the same moves. Use a sharp photo with the whole animal in view.
Do I have to learn the dance from a SaWaDiKa dance tutorial?
No. The slowed, mirrored LISA SaWaDiKa dance tutorials on TikTok and YouTube (a "tut" for short) are there if you want to practice it yourself. Here the AI does it: from one photo it plays the whole chorus, the palms together, the accents, the kicks and the hip sways.
Where does the background of my video come from?
Human keeps the place from your photo: Kling 3.0 Motion Control takes only the moves, so your own room or street stays. Pet keeps the purple-lit bedroom of the AI cat reel, because your pet goes into that reel itself.
Will the dancer from the original clip be in my video?
No. Human takes only the moves of a one-shot dance clip by an adult creator and plays them with the person in your photo, in your photo's place. Pet copies an AI-made cat reel, so no real person is in it. Use a photo of yourself, of an adult who agreed, or of your own pet, never a celebrity or a stranger.
Who made the SaWaDiKa choreography?
The SaWaDiKa choreography comes from LISA's music video and stage performances. TikTok dancers copied the chorus from release day, and a popular SaWaDiKa dance cover credits the choreographer Sienna Lalau in its caption. MakeViral is not linked to LISA, her label or the dancers.
Is the SaWaDiKa challenge still trending?
Yes. LISA's new song came out in September, and on 16 October 2026 LISA SaWaDiKa was still trending on TikTok: new SaWaDiKa dance challenge videos and dance covers went up on 15 October, and #lisa_sawadika had 478.2 million views. The dance trend for the new song now has AI cats and dogs too, so a pet take still stands out.
Which AI models make the videos?
Human uses Kling 3.0 Motion Control: it copies the moves of the dance onto the person in your photo, at 720p in your photo's frame. Pet uses Seedance 2.5: it puts your pet into the AI cat reel itself, vertical at 720p, and can take up to several minutes.
What prompt does the SaWaDiKa AI trend use?
No creator of the trend shared a prompt: the human reels are real dances, and the AI templates are closed. Human starts from the template sites' one-line Motion Control prompt (copy the camera movements and the actions of the dancer in the video) plus the moves of the chorus; Pet uses our tested reel-copy words that keep your pet's own look. You write no prompt yourself.
How long is the video and what format is it?
Both make 15 seconds at 720p. Human follows the frame of your photo, so a vertical photo gives a vertical 9:16 clip; Pet is vertical 9:16. Both are MP4 files with the song, with no watermark.
