AutoShorts sells a channel that runs itself. You create a series, pick a topic or write a custom prompt, choose an art style, a voice and a language, and connect a TikTok, YouTube or Instagram account. From then on it writes, renders and posts on the cadence your plan allows. Its own FAQ is blunt about the model: "AutoShorts doesn't focus on individual video creation. Instead, you set up a Series that automatically generates videos on a schedule."

MakeViral sells videos, one at a time or a hundred at a time. You give it a prompt, a script or a product URL and it returns a 9:16 file with an AI script, an AI voiceover, word-timed captions and a background. Nothing connects to a social account, and nothing posts.

Now the number that matters, since both sell finished videos:

AutoShorts is cheaper to start and more expensive per video at every tier. You are paying the difference for the posting robot and the schedule. Whether that is worth $0.46 a video is a real question, not a rhetorical one: if you would not otherwise post consistently, it probably is.

1. Download the series output you want to keep. Cancelling ends the series, and the FAQ confirms there are no refunds, so time the move for the end of a billing cycle.
2. Copy your custom prompt. The prompt you tuned is the asset. It becomes a MakeViral prompt with no rewriting, since both take plain text.
3. Translate cadence into a batch. A Daily plan is about 30 videos a month. In MakeViral that is one bulk run of 30, costing 300 credits, inside a Starter plan's 500.
