What is the Popstar AI trend?+
It is a viral AI video format from October 2026. People put themselves in the lead role of the Popstar music video from 2020: they walk down a mansion hallway with a champagne bottle, swing their arms wide and rap the verse into the camera, while a bodyguard follows. The big wave started on 2 October, when a Brazilian football star posted his own AI version.
How do I make the Popstar AI video with my photo?+
Press "Create your own" and add one clear photo of yourself, waist up or full body works best. Press Generate; the button shows the price first. You get a vertical clip of about 10 seconds with the trend's sound. You write no prompt, and the video waits in your Library when it is ready.
Where does the mansion in my video come from?+
From the first step of the run. Nano Banana 2 makes a still of you in a warm, wood-panelled mansion hallway with a champagne bottle in your right hand, from your own photo. Kling 3.0 Motion Control then plays the moves of the trend clip in that hallway. Your own room or background does not show.
Does my video have the bodyguard?+
No. Kling 3.0 Motion Control animates one person, so your video is a solo walk through the mansion: the walk to the camera, the wide arms and the look back over your shoulder, without the bodyguard of the trend clip.
Will my mouth lip sync to the song?+
Close, but not exactly. The clip copies the mouth movement of the performer in the trend clip, who raps the verse, so your mouth moves on the same beats. It does not follow every word, so it is no exact lip sync.
What sound does the Popstar AI video have?+
The trend's own sound: the same 10 seconds of the rap verse that the trend clip uses, put back on after the run so it lines up with the moves. You can turn it off on the result screen. The sound belongs to its owners, and MakeViral gives you no rights to it.
What prompt does the Popstar AI template use?+
The first viral versions were made with closed tools (Higgsfield Genjutsu, CapCut and Dreamina templates) that show no prompt. The only published prompt is the mansion still prompt from Starrd's how-to of 12 October 2026, and this template uses it. It is changed only where our run needs it: the room is described in words instead of a frame from the music video, and a costume from your photo stays as it is. You write no prompt yourself.
Can I put a celebrity in the Popstar video?+
Do not. Many viral versions use famous faces, but a fake video of a real person can break platform rules and the person's rights, and some video models refuse well-known faces. Use your own photo or one of an adult who agreed.
Does a costume work?+
The first step is told to keep the clothes, cap, glasses and jewellery from your photo, and to keep a long robe, a dress or a costume as it is. A photo where the whole outfit is easy to see gives the model the most to work with. Every run is a new take, so run it again if a detail changes.
How long is the video and what format is it?+
About 10 seconds, sometimes a moment shorter, as an MP4 at 720p, vertical 9:16, with the trend's sound. It is ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and there is no watermark.
