The I'm the One trend is a TikTok couple video: one partner holds the other across their shoulders, spins round, and in one swing the rider sits up on top, so it looks as if they swapped and she now carries him. It plays to the hook "cause I'm the one". You need two photos, one of each of you.

How to make the I'm the One video on MakeViral

Everything runs in the browser. No editing app, no prompt to write, no watermark.

  1. Add the two photos

Press "Create your own" and add the lifter (holds the other at the start), then the rider (ends up on top). Add them in this order, because the order decides who is who in the scene. Take them with the camera or pick them from your library.

  2. Press Generate

The button shows the price. Seedance 2.5 puts your photos into the I'm the One shoulder carry trend clip and copies it shot by shot for 9 seconds, with the reel's original song. You write no prompt.

  3. Download or share

The video is ready in up to several minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in My videos.

Which photo works best?

You need two photos, one person or pet in each.

  • Photo 1 is the lifter: the person who holds the other across the shoulders at the start. In most posts that is the boyfriend.
  • Photo 2 is the rider: the one on the shoulders who swings up on top at the end, so it looks like the girlfriend lifting the boyfriend. In the Pet version, photo 2 is your pet.
  • Sharp faces turned to the camera, in good light. Both faces are big in the reel: the lifter at the start, the rider at the end.
  • Your clothes come along. Each of you wears the clothes from your own photo. A waist-up or full-body photo works best.
  • Pets: a clear photo of the whole animal, its face to the camera. A cat or a small dog sits on your shoulders; a big dog fills them.
  • Use photos of adults who said yes. Never a celebrity, a stranger or a child.

Where did the I'm the One trend start?

The sound comes from an older trend. In July 2020, "I'm the One" clothing swap videos used the 2018 song "Famous (I'm the One)" by Mozzy and Iamsu!, and the TikTok tags #imtheone and #imtheonechallenge still carry it (147,794 and 10,107 videos on 2 November 2026). The trend sound most posts use, a sped-up "original sound" from 2023, is in 266,500 videos.

The shoulder carry version came in autumn 2026. On 23 September @pedromoves_ posted "10 seconds and 6'3 guy on his gfs shoulder" (115,900 views), and in October couples everywhere tried the lift and the flip. The most viewed one is by @777emilyyyy on 24 October in a parking garage: 563,100 views and 25,500 likes by 2 November.

The shoulder carry AI wave started on 20 October, when US CapCut tutorial accounts began to post a template that makes the shoulder carry swap from two photos. One caption says "You only need two photos to make the trending couple shoulder carry swap reversal video" (about 75,000 views). New tutorials still came out every day up to 2 November.

Video prompt

Recreate the reference video [Video 1] shot for shot: the same underground parking garage with the low grey ceiling, the strip lights and the parked cars, the same fixed phone camera, framing, timing and moves, in one continuous take. The ONLY change: the man who stands facing the camera with the woman across his shoulders is now the person in [Image 1], and the woman he carries is now the person in [Image 2]. The lifter = the person in [Image 1], in EVERY frame: copy the exact face from [Image 1] - face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles exactly as in the photo. They wear the clothes from [Image 1]. NO dark brown zip jacket and no grey jeans with pink cross prints unless [Image 1] shows them. The rider = the person in [Image 2], in EVERY frame: copy the exact face from [Image 2] - face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles exactly as in the photo. They wear the clothes from [Image 2]. NO grey long-sleeve top, no dark tights and no black knee boots unless [Image 2] shows them. Blonde hair only if [Image 2] shows blonde hair. The same real people in every frame, from the first second to the last, so their friends instantly recognize them, also during the turn. Never morph, never drift back to the original couple's faces, never add or remove facial hair. Do not mix the two faces: [Image 1] is only the lifter, [Image 2] is only the rider. Both change: no one from the video stays. The moves, matching the reference second by second: 0-3.5 s: the lifter stands facing the camera and holds the rider lying across the back of their shoulders, the rider's legs hanging down in front over one shoulder. The lifter looks into the lens and points at the camera with one hand. 3.5-5 s: the lifter turns around on the spot, and in one smooth swing the rider slides round and sits up on the lifter's shoulders. 5-9 s: the lifter now stands with their back to the camera. The rider sits upright on the lifter's shoulders, facing the camera, so the rider's upper body hides the lifter's head and it looks as if the rider is the one who carries. The rider grins, leans toward the camera with attitude, mouths the words of a song and rests both hands at the waist. Anatomy rules: exactly two people, one head per person, on that person's own shoulders. A face never appears on knees, legs, hands or clothes. From 5 s to the end the lifter's head stays hidden behind the rider, as in the reference. Real weight and natural balance, no floating. No dialogue throughout the entire video. No background music. No text, logos or watermark.

No woman from the video stays: no human body, no grey top, no tights, no boots, no human hands or legs on the pet. The moves, matching the reference second by second: 0-3.5 s: the lifter stands facing the camera and holds the pet lying across the back of their shoulders, its front legs and head hanging down over one shoulder, its hind legs over the other. The lifter looks into the lens and points at the camera with one hand. 3.5-5 s: the lifter turns around on the spot, and the pet slides round and sits up on the lifter's shoulders. 5-9 s: the lifter now stands with their back to the camera, holding the pet with both hands. The pet sits upright on the lifter's shoulders, facing the camera, its body in front of the lifter's head, and looks proudly into the lens as if it is the one in charge. Anatomy rules: exactly one person and one animal. The person has one head on their own shoulders; the pet has one head, one tail and four legs, no extra paws, no human hands. The pet is held safely the whole time, real weight and natural balance, no floating. No dialogue throughout the entire video. No background music. No text, logos or watermark.

How many credits does it cost?

You pay per video in credits, and the create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. The one-tap price covers the video, made in one step from your photos and the trend clip, charged once. One video is 137 credits, so the smallest one-time pack that covers it is $13.99 for 150 credits, with no subscription. The cheaper models are there if you run the prompts by hand in AI Video.

Two versions: Couple and Pet

Pick the version on the create page. Both put you into the most viewed shoulder carry reel itself: the same parking garage, the same spin and flip, the same fixed camera, 9 seconds, vertical.

VersionPhotosWhat happens
Couple1: the lifter, 2: the riderThe lifter holds the rider across the shoulders and turns. The rider swings up and sits on top, facing the camera, so it looks like the rider is now the one who carries. This is the couple shoulder carry of the TikTok posts.
Pet1: you, 2: your petYou hold your pet across your shoulders, turn round, and your pet sits up on top and looks into the camera, the one in charge.

Top-quality AI video models, including Seedance 2.5, swap both of you into the reel, and the trend's song goes back on at the end. The exact price shows on the Generate button before you spend anything, and the video waits in My videos when it is ready, usually in 5 to 15 minutes.

Why the flip looks like a swap

The trick of the shoulder carry trend is a camera angle, not strength. The lifter turns their back to the camera while the rider sits up on their shoulders. Now the rider's upper body hides the lifter's head, so the rider's face sits on top of the lifter's jacket and legs. That is why the comments say "he's facing the wrong way": it looks like a girl lifting her boyfriend with no effort. The AI version keeps this angle, so your result shows the same shoulder carry swap.

The real-life couple shoulder lift trend, also posted as the couple shoulder lift challenge, is harder than it looks, and the lift your girlfriend challenge has its share of falls. With the AI reel nobody has to lift anyone.

FAQ

I'm the One trend questions

What is the I'm the One trend?
It is a TikTok couple trend set to the hook "cause I'm the one". In the 2026 shoulder carry version, one partner carries the other across the shoulders, spins, and the rider swings up on top, so it looks like they swapped. In 2020 the same song had an "I'm the One" clothing swap trend.
What is the shoulder carry trend?
It is the I'm the One TikTok trend of autumn 2026: a couple does a shoulder lift, then a flip that makes the girlfriend look like she carries the boyfriend. Posts call it the shoulder lift trend, the cause I'm the one trend or the shoulder carry swap.
What song is the I'm the One challenge?
It is a sped-up clip of "Famous (I'm the One)" by Mozzy and Iamsu! (2018), the hook people caption as "he don't wanna fw me cause I'm the one". Captions also call it the famous I'm the One trend. The song has explicit lyrics. Your video comes with this trend sound, and you can turn it off on the result screen.
How do I make the shoulder carry AI video?
Press "Create your own", pick Couple or Pet, add photo 1 (the lifter) and photo 2 (the rider or your pet), and press Generate. The button shows the price first. You get a 9-second vertical shoulder carry AI video in My videos, with the trend's song on it.
How do you do the shoulder carry trend for real?
The lifter squats, the partner lies across the back of the lifter's shoulders, and the lifter stands up. Then the lifter turns their back to the camera while the partner sits up on the shoulders, facing the camera. Practice on a soft floor with a spotter. If you would rather not lift anyone, the AI version does the whole shoulder carry flip for you.
Is there a shoulder carry filter or CapCut template?
On TikTok the couple shoulder carry filter is a CapCut template that tutorial accounts share. Here you need no shoulder carry CapCut template, link or app: add your two photos and the AI puts you into the reel itself.
Is it a girlfriend lifting boyfriend meme?
Yes, in a way. The joke is a girl lifting her boyfriend, or a strong or tall girlfriend who can lift and carry her boyfriend, when really the flip and the camera angle do the work. Some couples also do a real lift: a girlfriend lifting boyfriend clip of a 6'3 guy on his girlfriend's shoulder has 115,900 views.
Is this the same as the lift your girlfriend challenge?
It is close. The lift your girlfriend challenge, the pick up your girlfriend trend and other lifting your girlfriend trend posts show a real lift. The I'm the One version adds the swap at the end, so the person on top seems to carry the other one. Some call it the I'm the One dance trend because of the song.
Can I do the shoulder carry trend with my pet?
Yes. Pick Pet: photo 1 is you and photo 2 is your pet. You hold your pet across your shoulders, turn round, and your pet sits up on top and looks into the camera. A cat or a small dog works, and so does a big dog.
Can two friends or a same-sex couple do it?
Yes. Any two adults work, in either order. Each person keeps their own face, hair and clothes, and the partner shoulder carry follows the photo order: photo 1 lifts first, photo 2 ends on top.
Is the shoulder lift trend on Instagram too?
Yes. The shoulder lift trend is on Instagram Reels as well as TikTok. Your video is a vertical 9:16 MP4, so you can post it on both.
How long is the video, and does it have sound?
It is 9 seconds, vertical 9:16, at 720p. The trend's song goes on after the run, in sync with the flip. You can turn the song off on the result screen.
Does it cost credits?
Yes. The create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. If a video fails, the credits come back.
Are my photos private?
Yes. MakeViral does not post your photos or the result anywhere or show them to other users. The video goes to your private My videos page, and you can delete it there at any time.
