The TikTok Creator Rewards Program pays creators for original videos over one minute long. You need 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in the last 30 days, a personal account, and to be 18 or older in one of eight countries. Payouts run on qualified views at a reported $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000, paid on the 15th of each month above $50.

$600estimated from 1,000,000 qualified views

Creator Rewards reports commonly land between $0.40 and $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views. Only views over 5 seconds on videos longer than one minute qualify, so your qualified count is lower than your view count.

What are the TikTok Creator Rewards Program requirements?

Which countries is the Creator Rewards Program available in?

Eight, as of September 15, 2026: the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico and Brazil.

This matters twice. Your account has to be registered in one of them, and qualified views have to come from one of them. An account in a supported country with an audience somewhere else earns far less than its view count suggests, because the views outside the eight do not qualify at all.

Which videos are eligible for rewards?

TikTok lists the content rules on the same Creator Academy page. A video earns rewards only if all of these are true:

  • It is original, high-quality content over one minute long.
  • It has at least 1,000 views on the For You feed.
  • It is not a Duet or a Stitch.
  • It was not made with Photo Mode.
  • It is not an ad, a paid promotion or sponsored content.
  • It follows the program terms, Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Creator Code of Conduct and Copyright Policy.

TikTok also asks for 1080p or higher. On top of the standard reward there is an Additional Reward, introduced in spring 2025, for videos TikTok judges to be well crafted, conversation-starting, or specialized in a niche.

What counts as a qualified view?

This is the number your pay is actually based on, and it is smaller than your public view count. TikTok's definition, from the same page:

  • Watch time of at least five seconds.
  • Views where the viewer tapped "I'm not interested" are not included.
  • Multiple views from the same account count as one unique view.
  • Search views need watch times of at least 30 seconds.
  • The view must come from one of the eight supported countries.
  • Ads, paid promotions and sponsored content never qualify.
  • Fraudulent or paid views are excluded.

The program terms add that TikTok excludes metrics it judges artificially produced, paid or incentivized, or inflated by the creator or linked accounts.

So a video with 1,000,000 public views might carry 400,000 to 700,000 qualified views, depending on how much of the audience sits outside the eight countries and how many people swipe within five seconds. Always do your own math on the qualified figure in the dashboard, not the public one.

How is the Creator Rewards RPM calculated?

RPM means rewards per 1,000 qualified views, and TikTok shows it per video in the program dashboard. The formula that produces it is not public, but the inputs are. TikTok's announcement of the program, published March 18, 2024, names four core metrics:

MetricWhat it measures
OriginalityContent unique to the creator, showing their point of view
Play durationWatch time and finish rate together
Search valueHow well the topic matches in-demand search terms
Audience engagementLikes, comments and shares

TikTok adds that the formula "will also automatically reward creators for their account's ad value determined by their community's ad watchtime". In plain terms: an audience advertisers pay to reach lifts your RPM, and an audience that skips ads lowers it.

Two practical consequences. Finish rate is worth more than raw length, so a tight 75-second video beats a padded three-minute one. And topics people search for beat topics that only work in the feed, which is why how-to and explainer formats hold higher RPMs than reaction content.

How much does the Creator Rewards Program pay per 1,000 views?

TikTok publishes no official RPM table. These are the two most recent third-party benchmarks, both checked on September 15, 2026:

SourceDate on the pageReported RPM
Elev8orUpdated September 3, 2026$0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views
SoundstripeUpdated August 12, 2026$0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, or $400 to $1,000 per million

Elev8or's country benchmarks, which it describes as assembled from creator-reported payouts rather than TikTok data:

CountryReported RPM per 1,000 qualified views
United Statesaround $0.85
United Kingdomaround $0.70
Germanyaround $0.62
Francearound $0.58
Japanaround $0.55
South Koreaaround $0.52
Brazilaround $0.32

Niche moves it too. Elev8or puts finance at roughly 1.3 times the market baseline, business at 1.22, tech at 1.18, gaming at 0.9 and entertainment at 0.85.

What do 100,000 and 1 million qualified views pay?

Qualified viewsAt $0.40 RPMAt $0.60 RPMAt $1.00 RPM
100,000$40$60$100
500,000$200$300$500
1,000,000$400$600$1,000

Compare that with YouTube Shorts, where the same trackers report $0.01 to $0.07 per 1,000 views. TikTok pays roughly ten to forty times more per 1,000 views on qualifying content, but only on videos over a minute, only from eight countries, and only on qualified views. The full comparison is in the TikTok pay guide.

When does TikTok pay you, and what is the minimum?

From the program terms, last updated July 20, 2026:

  • Rewards are calculated in the month after the month they were earned.
  • They become redeemable and are paid on the 15th of each month.
  • The minimum payment threshold is $50.00 USD. Below it, nothing is paid, and TikTok says unpaid amounts under the threshold may be deemed expired.
  • Payments are processed by PayPal through Hyperwallet, not by TikTok itself.
  • The Creator Academy page says withdrawal requests are typically processed within 72 hours, though banks can hold funds longer.
  • TikTok reserves the right to cap monthly or annual rewards per creator.

How do you read your own RPM in the dashboard?

TikTok gives every video in the program its own pages for RPM and qualified views, with view trends and explanations, per the March 2024 announcement. Use them instead of any published benchmark, including the ones in this article.

  1. Open TikTok Studio from the menu on your profile, then open Creator Rewards Program.
  2. Compare qualified views with public views on your last ten videos. The ratio between them is your real audience-quality number, and it is the single biggest lever on your pay.
  3. Sort by RPM, not by views. Your highest-RPM video tells you which topic your advertisers value. Make three more like it.
  4. Check estimated rewards against last month's payout. Estimates move until the month closes, so never plan on the live figure.

How do faceless accounts reach 10,000 followers?

The entry bar is the hard part, not the earning. You need 10,000 followers and 100,000 views inside a 30-day window, which means the account has to be active, not just old.

Three things that work without a face:

  • One format, posted daily. A repeated format trains the For You feed on who to show you to. Switching format every week resets that.
  • Series numbering. "Part 14" is the only reliable reason a TikTok viewer taps follow instead of scrolling.
  • Search-led topics. Search value is one of the four ranking metrics in the rewards formula, and search traffic keeps old videos earning long after the feed moves on.

Because the program needs videos over a minute, plan around 70 to 90 seconds from the start. Producing 30 of those by hand is a week of editing. Generating them in one batch is an afternoon.

What gets your account or a video disqualified?

TikTok publishes the list, and it is longer than most creators expect. Content that is ineligible for the For You feed is ineligible for rewards, including:

  • Unoriginal: copied from others, or with minimal original input or edits.
  • Low quality: split screens, meaningless reactions, low-quality images, or slide videos.
  • Advertising: personal or business contact details in your profile.
  • Clickbait: content built to farm follows, likes or ad clicks.
  • Inappropriate or disturbing audio, behavior or visuals.
  • Security issues: artificial engagement, manipulation of the rewards system, harassment, or illegal activity.

Two hard thresholds sit on top: 5 video violations in the past 30 days makes an account ineligible, and 5 total account violations makes it permanently ineligible. If a video is ruled ineligible you can appeal within 80 days. If your account is disqualified you can appeal within 30 days. A permanent ban forfeits outstanding rewards.

How is this different from the Creativity Program?

The Creator Rewards Program is the Creativity Program Beta, renamed and taken out of beta on March 18, 2024. The program terms still describe the program as "fka the Creativity Program Beta". Three practical differences from the old Creator Fund it replaced: the minimum video length of one minute, the four-part rewards formula instead of a flat fund, and RPMs that creators report as several times higher than the old fund paid.

If a guide you are reading still says "Creativity Program" or "Creator Fund", check its date. Those names describe the same pipeline at earlier stages.

Which faceless formats work for videos over one minute?

The one-minute floor rules out most meme formats and rewards anything with a narrative. These are the MakeViral formats that fit, with why they hold a full minute:

FormatWhy it holds 60 to 90 secondsBuild it with
Reddit storyA three-act story with a twist is naturally 250 to 300 spoken wordsReddit story video generator

Is the Creator Rewards Program worth it?

For a faceless account that can post one qualifying video a day, yes, as a base layer. One million qualified views a month at $0.60 RPM is $600, and that is money for work you were doing anyway.

As a sole income, no. The threshold is 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in 30 days before you earn a cent, the eight-country limit caps your qualified share, and the reported RPM ceiling is $1.00. Creators earning well on TikTok stack the program with TikTok Shop affiliate commissions, brand deals and their own products.

FAQ

Questions people ask

How do I get into the TikTok Creator Rewards Program?
Open your profile, tap the menu button, select TikTok Studio, then Creator Rewards Program, and apply. TikTok answers within three days. You need 10,000 followers, 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, a personal account in good standing, and to be 18 or older in one of the eight supported countries.
Does TikTok pay $1 for 1,000 views?
No. Independent trackers checked in September 2026 report $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, and $1.00 is the top of that range, not the average. Qualified views are also a subset of your public view count, so the effective rate per public view is lower.
How much does the Creator Rewards Program pay?
Roughly $400 to $1,000 per million qualified views, based on creator-reported RPM benchmarks checked in September 2026. TikTok publishes no official RPM table. Your dashboard shows your own RPM per video, which is the only number that matters for your account.
What counts as a qualified view on TikTok?
A view of at least five seconds on a video over one minute long, from one of the eight supported countries. Repeat views from the same account count once, views ended with an I am not interested tap do not count, and search views need at least 30 seconds.
Which countries is the Creator Rewards Program available in?
Eight as of September 2026: the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico and Brazil. Your account must be registered in one of them, and views from outside those countries do not qualify for rewards.
Why is my video not eligible for Creator Rewards?
The usual causes are length under one minute, fewer than 1,000 views on the For You feed, Duet or Stitch, Photo Mode, sponsored or paid content, or content TikTok classes as unoriginal or low quality, which includes split screens, meaningless reactions and slide videos.
When does TikTok pay Creator Rewards?
Rewards are calculated in the month after they are earned and paid on the 15th of each month, if the payable amount reaches the $50 minimum payment threshold. Withdrawals are usually processed within 72 hours after that, through PayPal or a local method.
Is the TikTok Creator Rewards Program worth it?
As a bonus, yes. As your only income, no. At $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views you need millions of views a month to clear rent, so most creators treat rewards as the base layer and earn more from TikTok Shop affiliate commissions, brand deals and their own products.
