The video is ready in up to several minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in My videos.

Which photo works best?

You + dog takes two photos: you first, then your dog. Dog only takes one photo of your pet, You only one photo of you.

  • Your photo: face to the camera, sharp and well lit, no sunglasses. Waist up or full body is best, because you sit on the sofa and on the rug. You keep the clothes from your photo.
  • Your dog: a clear photo where the face, ears, fur colors and markings show, ideally the whole body. Any breed works, and a cat or another pet works too.
  • One person or one pet per photo, so the AI knows who is who.
  • Adults only. Use your own photo or one of a friend who said yes. Never a child, a celebrity or a stranger.

Where did the Cutedog AI Trend trend start?

The Cutedog AI trend started on YouTube Shorts in India in late October 2026. Creators made short AI skits of an owner and a cute dog at home, with Hindi captions and the tags #cutedog and #doglovers. On 24 October the golden retriever account Kaju The retriever posted an "AI version of me and my Kaju", and two days later the channel Ai shivay posted the clip that took off: an AI woman asks her white Spitz for a snack, the dog fetches a green packet from the kitchen, and she shares a piece with it. By 1 November it had 477,358 views and 1,865 likes. The same channel also makes the skit with a parrot, with 235,000 and 168,000 views.

From there the format spread to TikTok, where a Pakistani AI dog account passed 101,000 views on 27 October with #AiDog and #CuteDog. On 1 November #cutedog held 5.1 million TikTok videos and gained about 1,900 a day, up from 1,200 the day before. No clip of this kind has reached a million views yet, so the trend is still early.

  1. Kaju The retriever posts an "AI version of me and my Kaju" on YouTube Shorts: an AI owner scolds her golden retriever, it makes innocent faces, then she hugs it (24,700 views by 1 November). YouTube

  2. Ai shivay posts the snack skit: an AI woman, her white Spitz and a green snack packet fetched from the kitchen. It is the biggest clip of the trend, with 477,358 views on 1 November. YouTube

  3. The format reaches TikTok: @melo.tikko posts AI dog skits with #AiDog, #CuteDog and #NaughtyDog and passes 101,000 views. TikTok

  4. More Indian Shorts channels copy it, for example a naughty puppy that greets a guest, with 34,600 views by 1 November. YouTube

  5. #cutedog holds 5.1 million TikTok videos and 65.7 billion views and gains about 1,900 videos a day, up from 1,200 the day before.

Recreate the reference video [Video 1] shot for shot: the same bright, modern apartment with a beige sofa, a patterned rug, cream walls and a long tiled hallway that leads to a kitchen, the same soft daylight, the same camera angles, cuts, timing, moves and facial expressions. The ONLY change: the owner (the woman in [Video 1]) is now the person in [Image 1], and the dog is now the pet in [Image 2]. Both change: no one from the video stays, also in the wide shots and when only the back of the dog shows. The owner = the person in [Image 1], in EVERY shot: copy the exact face from [Image 1] - face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles exactly as in the photo. The owner wears the clothes from [Image 1]; if [Image 1] shows only the head or the upper body, invent relaxed home clothes that match naturally. The same real person in every frame, so their friends instantly recognize them, also while laughing with the mouth wide open and while chewing. Never morph, never drift back to the original woman's face: NO red dot on the forehead, NO red bangles and NO necklace unless [Image 1] shows them. The dog = the pet in [Image 2], in EVERY shot: the same species and breed, head shape, face, eyes, ears, muzzle, fur colors, fur length, markings and body size as in [Image 2], with the natural body volume and proportions of that animal: never flattened, squashed, stretched or merged with anything. Never drift back to the dog of the original video: not the coat of the dog in the video unless [Image 2] shows it. If [Image 2] shows a cat or another animal, that animal takes the dog's place and does the same actions. The beats, matching [Video 1] second by second: Shot 1 [0-1.9s]: wide shot, the owner sits on the sofa, turns to the dog sitting beside the sofa and asks it for something, pointing and talking. Shot 2 [1.9-4.9s]: hard cut, a low camera in the long tiled hallway: the dog runs away down the hallway into the kitchen at the far end, then trots back toward the camera with a plain green snack packet held in its mouth. Shot 3 [4.9-6.5s]: hard cut, the owner now sits on the rug in front of the sofa; the dog brings the packet, the owner takes it from its mouth and bursts out laughing. Shot 4 [6.5-7.9s]: hard cut, a medium close-up of the owner, laughing, eating one piece from the open green packet. Shot 5 [7.9-10s]: hard cut, a close two-shot of the owner and the dog side by side: the dog stares at the snack with a big begging face, the owner holds out one piece and feeds it to the dog, the dog chews happily. The snack packet is a plain green packet with no logo, no brand name and no writing. One head per body. No dialogue throughout the entire video. No background music. No captions, no subtitles, no text, no watermark, no logos. No extra people, no extra animals, no extra limbs or paws, no merged bodies, no morphing, no children.

How many credits does it cost?

You pay per video in credits, and the create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. The one-tap price covers the video, made in one step from your photos and the trend clip, charged once. One video is 152 credits, so the smallest one-time pack that covers it is $39.99 for 450 credits, with no subscription. The cheaper models are there if you run the prompts by hand in AI Video.

One-time packs and plans are on the pricing page. A failed video gives its credits back.

What happens in the cutedog AI dog video, second by second?

Your video copies the original reel shot for shot, with you and your dog in it:

TimeWhat you see
0 to 2 sYou sit on a sofa in a bright living room and ask your dog, sitting next to you, for a snack.
2 to 5 sA low camera in a long tiled hall: the dog races to the kitchen at the far end and trots back with a green snack packet in its mouth.
5 to 6.5 sYou sit on the rug, take the packet from its mouth and burst out laughing.
6.5 to 8 sA close shot of you eating one piece from the packet, still laughing.
8 to 10 sYou and your dog side by side: it stares at the snack with a big begging face, and you feed it a piece.

How it works: top-quality AI video models, including Seedance 2.5, put your face and your dog into the reel and keep its cuts, camera and timing. You get 10 seconds, vertical, at 720p. The exact price shows on the Generate button before you spend anything, and every run is a new take.

You + dog, Dog only or You only: which version should you make?

  • You + dog (2 photos): the full skit. You play the owner and your dog does the fetching and the begging. This is the ai video of me and my dog that people post.
  • Dog only (1 photo): your pet takes the dog's place and the AI owner from the reel stays. Good when you just want a cute dog AI video of your pet. A cat or a rabbit works too.
  • You only (1 photo): you play the owner and the reel's white dog stays. Good if your pet is not around for a photo.

All three cost the same and take the same time. There is no child version, on purpose.

Does the video have sound?

Yes. The result comes with the original reel's sound: the woman's short lines in Hindi and her laugh. It is not your voice, and the mouth follows the reel, so it is not exact lip sync. If you want your own words, turn the sound off on the result screen and add a voice-over or music in your editing app. Many creators post these skits with a funny caption in their own language instead.

What goes wrong, and how do you fix it?

ProblemFix
The face looks like someone elseUse a sharp, front-facing photo in good light, without sunglasses. Run it again.
The dog looks like the white dog from the reelUse a photo where your dog's whole body and colors show clearly. Run it again.
You and your dog swapped placesKeep the order: photo 1 is you, photo 2 is your dog.
The packet looks differentThe packet is always a plain green snack bag. Small changes from run to run are normal.

FAQ

Cutedog AI Trend trend questions

What is the cutedog AI trend?
It is a wave of short AI dog videos from India: an owner and a cute dog in a funny 10-second home skit, posted with #cutedog and #doglovers. The biggest clip, by Ai shivay on 26 October 2026, shows a dog that fetches a snack packet from the kitchen and then begs for a bite. It had 477,358 views by 1 November.
How do I make an AI video of me and my dog?
Pick You + dog, press "Create your own", and add a photo of you and a photo of your dog. Press Generate; the button shows the price first. You get a 10-second vertical video that copies the viral skit with your face and your dog, and it waits in My videos when it is ready. That is how to make ai video with my dog without any editing.
Is this an AI dog video generator?
Yes, for this one skit. It works as an AI dog video generator and AI dog video maker in one step: it takes your photos and puts them into the trend's original reel, so you get the same cuts and the same funny timing. It also works as an ai pet video maker for cats and other pets in the Dog only version.
What is the "AI version of me and my dog" trend?
Dog owners post an AI version of themselves and their dog acting out a small scene: the dog fetches something, acts innocent after a scolding, or begs for food. This template makes the snack skit, the most viewed one, with your own photos. It is the same dog and owner ai idea, and a dog and human ai video in one clip.
What prompt does the me and my dog AI trend use?
No creator has shared a prompt. The original clips are AI-made, but the channels did not post their prompts, and no tool has a template for it. So this page uses our own prompt, written shot by shot from the original reel. If you looked for a me and my dog ai prompt, a dog and owner ai prompt or a cute dog ai prompt, it is built in, and you need no ai dog video prompt of your own.
Can I use my cat or another pet?
Yes. A cat, a rabbit or another pet takes the dog's place and does the same fetching and begging. Dogs look the most natural, because the original reel has a dog.
Is there an AI dog video app for this?
You do not need an AI dog video app: this page makes the clip in your browser on a phone or a computer. You download the MP4 and post it anywhere, for example as an ai dog video on TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels.
Where can I see the funniest AI dog videos of this trend?
Search #cutedog, #doglovers and #AiDog on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, or type "ai dog videos funny" into YouTube. Most of these funny dog AI videos and funny ai pet videos come from Indian and Pakistani channels, with Hindi captions. They are short funny dog videos made with AI, usually 10 seconds long. The clip at the top of this page is the most viewed one so far.
AI dog video kaise banaye?
Apni ek photo aur apne dog ki ek photo add karein, Generate dabayein, aur 10 second ka video ban jayega. In English: add your photo and your dog's photo, press Generate, and you get a 10-second video. That is how the ai dog video kaise banaye tutorials make it.
How long is the video and what format is it?
10 seconds, vertical 9:16, 720p MP4, with the original reel's sound. It plays on TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and there is no watermark.
Is the snack a real brand?
The original reel shows a real snack packet. In your video the prompt asks for a plain green snack packet and never names a brand, but the AI can keep some of the print from the reel's packet.
Can I put a child or a celebrity in it?
No. Use your own photo, your own pet, or a friend who said yes. Never a child, a celebrity or a stranger.
