The mini me AI trend turns one photo into a tiny, doll-size copy of you. On TikTok, the mini version of me sits on a wooden window ledge, pouts, then grabs an ice cream cone from a giant hand and eats it with cream all over its face. Here, one clear photo of you is enough.

How to make the Mini Me AI video on MakeViral

Everything runs in the browser. No editing app, no prompt to write, no watermark.

  1. Add your photo

Press "Create your own" and add you, face clear (waist up is best). Take it with the camera or pick it from your library.

  2. Press Generate

The button shows the price. Seedance 2.5 films the Mini Me AI scene straight from your photo, with no in-between picture, for 10 seconds with original sound. You write no prompt.

  3. Download or share

The video is ready in a few minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in My videos.

Which photo works best?

Upload one photo of yourself. The tiny you copies your face, hair and clothes from it.

  • Face clear and sharp, in good light. Face the camera or turn a little to it. Sunglasses, a mask or hair over the eyes make the tiny you look less like you.
  • Waist up or knees up is best. The tiny you wears the clothes from your photo, so show your top.
  • One person in the photo. In a group photo the AI may shrink the wrong person.
  • A pet works too. A clear photo of your cat or dog gives a tiny pet that licks the ice cream.
  • Use your own photo. Adults and pets only: never a child, a celebrity or someone else's photo without their yes.

Where did the Mini Me AI trend start?

The mini me trend grew out of a run of CapCut AI templates. The earliest post we found with its caption, "Mini version of me unlocked. When you meet your tiny self. My mini me is cuter than me", went up on 4 May 2026 from Mexico and reached about 80,000 plays. On 30 May the US account @po94275 posted a tiny you in a giant hand.

The ice cream version came in the summer. On 30 July 2026 @po94275 posted a tiny you with bunny ears on a sofa, fed with an ice cream cone (about 826,000 plays). On 9 August the same account posted the version that made the trend: the tiny you on a window ledge, a giant hand with a vanilla cone, and a face full of cream, with the caption line "I made a tiny version of myself". It reached about 2.8 million plays, 40,900 likes and 37,800 shares.

Copies kept coming through September and October, and on 26 October a second wave with French captions started: its top post had about 310,000 plays by 28 October.

Video prompt

A mini me AI video made from [Image 1]: a tiny, doll-size copy of the person in [Image 1] sits on a wooden window ledge, and a giant real hand feeds it an ice cream cone. Vertical 9:16, one continuous handheld phone shot like a real macro video, photorealistic, real skin and real fabric, soft warm afternoon light from the window, macro lens, extreme shallow depth of field, creamy bokeh. The tiny copy is the person in [Image 1], shrunk to the size of a small doll, in every frame: copy the exact face from [Image 1] (the face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles), and the same clothes as in [Image 1]. It is an adult in miniature: a cute collectible-figure look with a slightly big head, but an adult face, adult features and an adult body shape, never a baby or a child. The same face from the first frame to the last, also while it eats and laughs, so their friends recognize them at once. Never morph, never a different person. If [Image 1] shows an animal, the tiny copy is that animal shrunk to the size of a toy, with its own face, fur and markings, licking the ice cream, not a person. The place: the edge of a wide, dark warm wooden window ledge in a bright room, a big window with pale blinds softly blurred behind. The tiny copy sits on the very edge with its legs dangling, about as tall as a coffee mug. The giant hand comes in from the right side of the frame and is many times bigger than the tiny copy. 0-2 s: a close shot of the tiny copy on the ledge, its whole tiny body in frame, face to the camera: it folds its arms, puffs its cheeks and pouts, grumpy and cute. 2-4 s: the giant hand brings a small vanilla soft-serve ice cream cone in from the right, held between thumb and finger. The tiny copy's eyes go wide and it gasps with a big happy open mouth. 4-7 s: the tiny copy grabs the cone with both little hands (the cone is almost as big as its head), takes a big bite and licks it with its eyes closed in bliss, a little cream on its nose and lips. 7-10 s: the giant fingertip gently pats the top of its head; the tiny copy giggles with a soft cream mustache, hugs the cone and smiles straight at the camera. The camera pushes in: its face is large, sharp and clearly visible. Audio: soft room tone, tiny happy squeaks, a little "mmm" and giggles, a soft music box tune. No words. Exactly one tiny copy and one giant hand: the hand belongs to an adult off camera, only the hand and the wrist show. Real scale all the time: the tiny copy stays doll-size in every frame and never grows. Gentle and sweet: the hand never squeezes, grabs or lifts the tiny copy. Anatomy rules: one head, two arms and five fingers on each hand, for the tiny copy and for the giant hand; the cone never merges with the hand or the face. No text, no captions, no subtitles, no logos, no brand names, no watermark.

How many credits does it cost?

You pay per video in credits, and the create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. The one-tap price covers the scene photo and the video, charged once. What does the mini me AI video make?

A tiny version of you, about as tall as a coffee mug, with your own face, hair and clothes. It looks like a cute collectible figure of you: a slightly big head, an adult face, real skin and real fabric, filmed up close like a macro video. A giant real hand plays the other part of the joke.

How MakeViral makes it: the best AI video models available make the video straight from your photo, with no in-between picture, so the face stays close to yours. The create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything, and every run is a new take.

The mini me CapCut template, and our AI version

On TikTok, people make the mini me tiktok trend with closed CapCut templates: you open the template from a post, add a photo, and the app makes the clip. The templates show no prompt, and the creators never shared one, so there is no official mini me ai trend prompt to copy. We read the frames of the most viewed posts and wrote our own prompt from what they show: the tiny you on the ledge, the pout, the cone from the giant hand, the big bite, the cream on the face and the pat on the head.

So you do not need the little version of me capcut template or a CapCut account here. This page is the mini me ai generator: one photo in, a finished mini me ai video out, in the browser.

FAQ

Mini Me AI trend questions

What is the mini me AI trend?
It is a TikTok trend from 2026: one photo becomes a tiny, doll-size copy of you, the "mini version of me". In the best known version, the tiny you sits on a window ledge and a giant hand feeds it an ice cream cone. The caption says "Mini version of me unlocked. When you meet your tiny self".
Where does the mini me trend come from?
From CapCut AI templates. The caption first showed up on 4 May 2026. The ice cream version by @po94275 came on 30 July 2026, and the window ledge version on 9 August reached about 2.8 million plays. A second wave with French captions started on 26 October 2026.
How do I make a tiny version of me?
Press "Create your own", add one clear photo of yourself and press Generate. You get a 10-second video of a tiny version of yourself on a window ledge, eating ice cream. Pick **Sofa** for the bunny-ear take. You need no app and no editing.
Is there a mini me filter or a mini me AI app?
It works like a filter, but it is not a live camera filter: you upload a photo and get a finished video. This page works as the mini me AI app, in the browser on your phone or computer. The mini me filter TikTok posts are made with a CapCut template, and the mini me filter app for those is CapCut.
What is the mini me AI trend prompt?
The TikTok templates never showed a prompt, and no creator shared one, so every mini me ai prompt online is someone's own guess. Ours is written from the frames of the 2.8 million play clip, and you do not need to type it: the page sends it for you. That also covers the mini version of me prompt and the AI mini me prompt people search for.
Is it the same as the hole in shirt effect?
No. The mini me effect on our hole in shirt page puts a small copy of you inside a round window in your own shirt. This trend is a tiny, separate you that sits on a ledge and eats ice cream. Both start from one photo of you.
Can I get just a mini me AI photo?
This page makes a video. For a still mini me ai photo or a miniature version of me picture, take a frame from your video, or use our photo tools for a tiny me AI picture in your own scene.
Does the video have the trend's sound?
The video comes with its own sound: tiny squeaks, giggles and a soft music box tune. The TikTok posts use the creators' own sounds. To use one, tap the sound under a post you like on TikTok and press Use this sound when you post your clip.
Can I make a mini me of my pet?
Yes. Upload a clear photo of your cat or dog: the AI makes a tiny, toy-size copy of your pet that licks the ice cream from the giant hand.
Does the tiny me look like a child?
No. The tiny you keeps your adult face and features: it looks like a small collectible figure of you, not a baby. Use a photo of an adult only, never a photo of a child.
Does it cost credits?
Yes. The create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything, and if a run fails, the credits come back.
Is my photo private?
Yes. MakeViral does not post your photo or the result anywhere or show them to other users. The result goes to your private My videos page, and you can delete it there at any time.
