An AI UGC ad generator makes a feed-native product ad without a shoot. In MakeViral you create a creator persona, upload your product image, and get a still of that person holding it, an eight-second animation of the same shot, or a lip-synced fifteen-second script read straight to camera.

Cast a creator, upload your product, write 35 words. You get a vertical ad with a person on camera in minutes, not in a two-week creator cycle.

**Start now:** [Make a UGC ad](https://www.makeviral.ai/influencer) (opens the MakeViral app). Part of the [AI Influencer Generator](https://www.makeviral.ai/ai-influencer-generator).

## What is an AI UGC ad, and why do buyers run them?

UGC means user-generated content. A UGC ad is an ad built to look like a post: shot vertically on a phone, a person talking to camera, plain captions, and copy written the way somebody speaks rather than the way a brand writes.

An AI UGC ad generator replaces the casting call, the product shipping and the shoot day. You pick a face, upload a product image, type a script, and the file comes back at 1080 x 1920.

The reason media buyers care is arithmetic, not novelty. A creator brief, a sample in the mail and a two-week turnaround buys you one or two variations. Creative testing needs ten. In most paid social accounts the bottleneck is not the bidding, it is how many different arguments you can put in front of the same audience in a month.

So the number that matters on this page is cost per variation, and every figure below is worked out rather than rounded.

## How does MakeViral build a UGC ad?

Two steps. Step one is a creator. Step two is a video, in one of three modes.

**Step 1: cast the creator.** On the [AI creator surface](https://www.makeviral.ai/influencer) you pick one of 12 presets, describe the person you want in words, or upload a face photo. The presets span ages 22 to 55, a mix of genders and ethnicities, and six kinds of setting: kitchen, car, desk, gym, bathroom mirror and outdoors. The portrait renders 9:16 and costs 2 credits on Nano Banana 2 or 1 credit on Z-Image. Each creator keeps a name, a description, a portrait and a voice, so you reuse it instead of recasting. The [AI UGC creator page](https://www.makeviral.ai/tools/ai-ugc-creator) goes deeper on casting.

**Step 2: pick a mode.**

| Mode | What it makes | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Product in hand | A still of your creator holding your exact uploaded product, framed as a UGC selfie | 2 |
| Product in hand, animated | The same still moved for 8 seconds at 720p on Veo 3.1 Lite, subtle hand motion, no speech | 6 |
| Talking | Your script voiced, then the portrait lip-synced to that audio, 3 to 15 seconds | 2 per second on Kling Avatar 720p |
| Hook plus demo | A talking hook of up to 8 seconds joined to a demo clip in one 1080 x 1920 file, with optional word-by-word captions | 2 for the join |

For cold traffic, hook plus demo is the shape that holds up: a face delivers the first line, then the product fills the frame while the voice keeps going. The demo half can be the animated product still or your own uploaded footage. If you only want the talking piece, the [AI avatar video generator page](https://www.makeviral.ai/tools/ai-avatar-video-generator) covers the three lip-sync models in detail.

## What does one ad variation cost?

Every price here comes from the credit table on the [pricing page](https://www.makeviral.ai/pricing). A credit is about $0.071 on the $49.99 plan for 700 credits and about $0.067 on the $199.99 plan for 3,000 credits.

| Piece of an ad | Credits | $49.99 plan | $199.99 plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creator portrait, Nano Banana 2 | 2 | $0.14 | $0.13 |
| Creator portrait, Z-Image | 1 | $0.07 | $0.07 |
| Product in hand still | 2 | $0.14 | $0.13 |
| 8-second animation, Veo 3.1 Lite 720p | 6 | $0.43 | $0.40 |
| 15-second talking, InfiniteTalk 480p | 15 | $1.07 | $1.00 |
| 15-second talking, Kling Avatar 720p | 30 | $2.14 | $2.00 |
| 15-second talking, Kling Avatar Pro 1080p | 60 | $4.28 | $4.00 |
| Hook plus demo join | 2 | $0.14 | $0.13 |

### The worked example

A 15-second talking ad on Kling Avatar 720p bills at 2 credits per second of speech, so 15 x 2 = 30 credits. The first time you use a creator you also pay 2 credits for the portrait, so ad number one is 32 credits and every ad after it is 30.

- On the $49.99 plan, 30 credits is about $2.14 per ad.
- On the $199.99 plan, 30 credits is about $2.00 per ad.

You are charged on the real length of the generated audio, not on your estimate. A script you thought ran 12 seconds that voices at 14 costs 28 credits, not 24. Write to 35 words and the estimate stops drifting.

## How many hooks do you have to test?

One ad is a guess with a budget behind it. The useful unit is a set of first lines that make genuinely different arguments.

1. **Write eight to ten hooks, one per problem.** Price, wasted time, a failed alternative, a specific objection, one narrow use case. Ten rewordings of one idea teach you nothing.
2. **Hold everything else still.** One creator, one product shot, one call to action. If the face changes with the hook, you cannot read the result.
3. **Generate short first.** An 8-second talking hook on Kling Avatar 720p is 16 credits. Ten of them is 160 credits, about $11.42 on the $49.99 plan.
4. **Stitch the survivors to a demo.** Take the two hooks that held attention, join each to the animated product clip for 2 credits, and run those as the full ads.
5. **Re-cut instead of re-shooting.** The creator, the voice and the product still are saved. A new hook is a new script against assets you already paid for.

Ten variations for $11.42 is the number to hold against a creator fee plus a shipping label. The [UGC ads index](https://www.makeviral.ai/ugc-ads) has the angle library, and the industry pages go further: [skincare UGC ads](https://www.makeviral.ai/ugc-ads/skincare) and [supplement UGC ads](https://www.makeviral.ai/ugc-ads/supplements) both cover claims you should not make on camera.

## Three 15-second scripts you can paste in

Thirty-five words is about fifteen seconds of speech, which is the ceiling on one talking generation. Every script below sits inside it. Note the voice: these are pitches, not testimonials, for the reason set out further down.

### 1. Magnesium sleep supplement, 35 words

- **Hook, 0 to 3 seconds:** "Fall asleep fine, then wake at three every night?"
- **Body, 3 to 12 seconds:** "This is magnesium glycinate, 400 milligrams, no melatonin. Two capsules an hour before bed. It targets staying asleep, not knocking you out."
- **Call to action, 12 to 15 seconds:** "Bottle is linked below."

### 2. Project management app, B2B, 34 words

- **Hook:** "Your team does not need another chat app."
- **Body:** "This puts every task, deadline and file on one board. You see who is blocked. Setup imports from a spreadsheet."
- **Call to action:** "Start a workspace from the link."

### 3. Electric toothbrush, 35 words

- **Hook:** "Dentists keep telling you to stop brushing so hard."
- **Body:** "This brush has a pressure sensor that stops the head when you push. Thirty-day battery, two heads, no subscription."
- **Call to action:** "Tap the link to see the colors."

You can also let the app draft the script from the product name, the description and the angle you choose, then edit the draft before you spend a credit. That is usually faster than starting at an empty box. The longer walkthrough lives in [how to make UGC ads with AI](https://www.makeviral.ai/blog/how-to-make-ugc-ads-with-ai).

## How is this different from the faceless UGC generator?

MakeViral has two wings and they do not overlap. Pick the wrong one and you spend credits on the wrong shape of ad.

| | [Faceless UGC generator](https://www.makeviral.ai/tools/ugc-video-generator) | This page |
|---|---|---|
| Who is on screen | Nobody. Product visuals, captions, gameplay | A creator you cast |
| Voice | AI voiceover over the visuals | The creator's voice, lip-synced to the portrait |
| Length | 6 to 90 seconds | 3 to 15 seconds per talking clip |
| Your product image | Not used | Held in frame by the creator |
| Cost | 10 credits per video | 30 credits for a 15-second talking ad |
| Best for | Story, meme, chat and explainer ads | Face-led ads that need a person in frame one |

Use the faceless wing when the product sells itself better than any person would, or when you need 90 seconds of argument. Use this one when the scroll needs a human face and a spoken first line. Both wings are listed on the [AI influencer generator hub](https://www.makeviral.ai/ai-influencer-generator).

If you are shortlisting tools rather than wings, the [Arcads alternatives page](https://www.makeviral.ai/alternatives/arcads-ai) lays out what each product actually does, including where MakeViral is the weaker choice.

## What you cannot claim in an AI UGC ad

The creator in your ad did not buy the product, did not use it and does not exist. Write the ad as a pitch and the problem disappears. Write it as a testimonial and you have a compliance problem before you have a performance problem.

Three rules that cost nothing:

1. **Pitch, do not testify.** "This is magnesium glycinate, no melatonin" is a claim about the product. "I finally slept eight hours" is a claim about a person who is not real.
2. **Keep claims to what the product does.** Ingredients, specifications, price, what is in the box, what it replaces. Not results an invented customer supposedly got.
3. **Check the rules before you upload, not after.** They change, and they differ by platform and by country.

Verified points, each checked 17 September 2026:

- The FTC's [final rule banning fake reviews and testimonials](https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/news/press-releases/2024/08/federal-trade-commission-announces-final-rule-banning-fake-reviews-testimonials), announced August 2024 and effective 60 days after Federal Register publication, covers reviews that "misrepresent that they are by someone who does not exist, such as AI-generated fake reviews", and lets the agency seek civil penalties against knowing violators.
- The FTC's [Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers](https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/disclosures-101-social-media-influencers) says that "if making an endorsement in a video, the disclosure should be in the video and not just in the description uploaded with the video".
- Meta's April 2024 post [on labeling AI-generated content](https://about.fb.com/news/2024/04/metas-approach-to-labeling-ai-generated-content-and-manipulated-media/) states that "advertisers have to disclose when they digitally create or alter a political or social issue ad in certain cases".

## What MakeViral will not do for a media buyer

- **15 seconds is a hard ceiling on one talking generation.** A 30-second ad is two clips joined, so write it as two halves with a clean break rather than one paragraph cut in the middle.
- **There is no API.** You cannot drive a hundred variations from a spreadsheet overnight. Everything happens in the browser.
- **There is no ad account integration.** You download the MP4 and upload it to Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager yourself. Nothing connects, nothing publishes, nothing schedules.
- **There is no analytics.** Performance lives in your ad platform.
- **Lip sync quality follows the portrait.** A front-facing, evenly lit, unobstructed face syncs cleanly. A profile, a hand near the mouth, hard shadow or sunglasses do not.
- **The product still reproduces what you upload.** A blurry or cluttered pack shot comes back blurry and cluttered in the creator's hand. Shoot it on a plain background first, or build one on the [AI product video page](https://www.makeviral.ai/tools/ai-product-video-generator).

None of that blocks a small buying team. It does block an agency that wants 500 unattended renders, and it is cheaper to learn it here than after the first invoice. For the organic side of the same creative, [how to go viral on TikTok](https://www.makeviral.ai/blog/how-to-go-viral-on-tiktok) covers what the feed rewards.

## What the ai ugc ad generator does for you

- **A cast you reuse.** Twelve presets, a written description or your own face photo. Each creator keeps a name, a portrait and a voice.
- **Your exact product in frame.** Upload the product image and the creator holds that product, not a generated lookalike of it.
- **Scripts written or pasted.** Type your own 35-word script, or have one drafted from the product name, description and angle.
- **1080 x 1920 by default.** Talking clips, animations and stitched hook-plus-demo files all render vertical and ready to upload.
- **Cost you can forecast.** 2 credits per second on Kling Avatar 720p, so a 15-second ad is 30 credits, about $2.14 on the $49.99 plan.

## How it works

1. **Cast the creator.** Pick a preset, describe a person or upload a face photo. The 9:16 portrait is 2 credits, or 1 on Z-Image.
2. **Add the product and the script.** The creator holds your uploaded product. Keep the script to 35 words or fewer for about 15 seconds.
3. **Generate, download, upload.** Take the 1080 x 1920 file into Meta or TikTok Ads Manager yourself. There is no ad account integration.

## Who it is for

Direct-to-consumer brands · Supplement brands · Skincare brands · Mobile app marketers · SaaS teams · Performance agencies · TikTok Shop sellers · Affiliate marketers

## Frequently asked questions

### What is an AI UGC ad generator?

It is a tool that produces a feed-native vertical ad with a generated person on camera instead of a hired creator. You cast a face, upload your product image, and get a still of that person holding it, an 8-second animation, or a lip-synced talking clip of up to 15 seconds.

### Does the creator hold my real product?

Yes. You upload a product image and the product-in-hand mode places that exact item in the creator's hand in a UGC selfie frame. The still costs 2 credits. The result only looks as good as the image you upload, so use a clean shot on a plain background.

### How long can one ad be?

One talking generation runs from 3 to 15 seconds, and 15 seconds is a hard ceiling. A 30-second ad is two clips generated separately and joined. The hook plus demo mode gives you a talking hook of up to 8 seconds followed by a demo clip in one file.

### What does a 15-second UGC ad cost?

Kling Avatar at 720p bills 2 credits per second of speech, so 15 seconds is 30 credits. Add 2 credits the first time for the creator portrait. On the $49.99 plan for 700 credits that is about $2.14 per ad, and about $2.00 on the $199.99 plan for 3,000 credits.

### Can I present the generated creator as a customer?

No. The person does not exist and never used your product, so write the script as a pitch about the product rather than a testimonial. Keep claims to ingredients, specifications and what is in the box, and check the current disclosure rules for the platform you are buying on.

### Can I test ten hooks with one creator?

Yes, and that is the cheapest way to use it. Keep the creator, the product still and the call to action fixed, and change only the first line. An 8-second talking hook is 16 credits on Kling Avatar 720p, so ten of them is 160 credits, about $11.42 on the $49.99 plan.

### Does MakeViral upload the ads to Meta or TikTok for me?

No. There is no ad account integration, no scheduling and no publishing. You download the 1080 x 1920 MP4 and upload it in Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager yourself. There is also no API, so bulk generation is a browser session rather than a script.

### How is this different from the faceless UGC video generator?

The faceless generator makes UGC-styled ads with nobody on camera: generated visuals, an AI voiceover and captions, 6 to 90 seconds, 10 credits each. This page is the opposite half: a person in frame, holding your product, lip-synced to a script, 3 to 15 seconds per clip.
