You need one couple photo. Add one photo of you two together. AI keeps both of you as you are, then shrinks him to toddler size and puts him on your hip, beard, cap and all. That is the "my mother is beyond compare" slide. The words are a poem. In Despicable Me 2 (2013) the little girl Agnes reads her Mother's Day poem: "She kisses my boo boos, she braids my hair, my mother is beyond compare." On 14 May 2023 the Minions account put the clip on TikTok for Mother's Day, it passed 4.3 million views, and its sound became a slideshow sound. Through summer 2026 people used it for photo posts about their moms, best friends and girlfriends. The boyfriend shrink trend started on 23 October 2026, in the US. The first post that went big came that evening: a couple posted three slides on the sound: two real photos of them together, then an AI photo where she holds him on her hip like a toddler, his mustache still on his grown-up face. It passed 900,000 views, and its top comment, "Send the prompt over boss", got more than 4,000 likes. Copies followed within hours. On 25 October how-to videos started ("how to do the she kisses my boo boos trend", "how to make the mommy ai photo trend") and the hashtag #shekissesmybooboostrend began. On 26 October a husband's post with his wife reached 1.4 million views. By 28 October the sound had 27,600 videos. ### She Kisses My Boo Boos trend timeline - **2023-05-14**: The Minions account posts the Despicable Me 2 clip of Agnes reading her Mother's Day poem, "She kisses my boo boos, she braids my hair". No editing app, no watermark. ### The one-tap way (no prompt to write) 1. **Add your photo.** Press "Make yours" and add you two together, both faces clear. Take it with the camera or pick it from your library. Start here: https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/she-kisses-my-boo-boos-ai-trend/create 2. **Press Generate.** The button shows the price. Nano Banana 2.1 puts your photo into the She Kisses My Boo Boos scene and makes one 2K photo. You write no prompt. 3. **Download or share.** The photo is ready in a few minutes as a 9:16 2K image. Download it, share it from your phone, turn it into a video, or find it later in My videos. ### The by-hand way, with the exact prompts The one-tap flow runs this prompt for you. The photo prompt puts your photo into the scene (Nano Banana 2.1, image mode, 9:16, 2K). To change it, copy it and edit it in AI Photo. Settings: 1 photo (you two together, both faces clear) · Nano Banana 2.1 · photo · 2K · 9:16 · 3 credits in one tap. 1. Open [AI Photo with this template](https://www.makeviral.ai/photo?template=she-kisses-my-boo-boos-ai-trend) and add your photo (you two together, both faces clear). Pick 2K for the same size as the one-tap photo. The photo prompt is filled in: ```text Use the uploaded image as the base. The girlfriend is the woman in the photo and the boyfriend is the man; if the photo shows two women or two men, the person on the right is the girlfriend and the person on the left is the boyfriend. Make the girlfriend hold her boyfriend in her arms, with the boyfriend scaled down to a tiny size. Keep both faces, identities, clothing, background, pose, and lighting unchanged. Make the boyfriend look realistic and naturally supported in her arms. This is the last slide of the "my mother is beyond compare" couple photo post: she stands at her own full size and carries him on her hip the way a mother carries a toddler, one arm under him and one hand on his back, and he sits on her hip with one arm around her shoulders. Only her arms and his body change to make the hold work. His body is the size of a two-year-old, a short, chunky little body in a tiny copy of his own clothes, shoes and cap, but he is a grown man the whole time: his head and face stay his own adult head and face, at his real age, with the same beard, moustache or stubble, hairline, hair, glasses and cap as in the photo. Never a child's face, never baby skin, never a younger face. Both of them look at the camera with their own expressions, faces large, sharp and well lit; she smiles proudly, he looks calm and content. Exactly the two people of the photo: nobody added, nobody removed, no baby and no child anywhere. Vertical 9:16; if the photo is wider, extend the place naturally. Photorealistic, like an ordinary phone snapshot of a real couple. No text, no captions, no stickers, no logos, no watermark, no frame. ``` 2. Press Generate, then download the 9:16 image. To make it move, press "Make it a video" on it. One-tap version of this variant: https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/she-kisses-my-boo-boos-ai-trend/create ### Which photo works best? Upload **one photo of you two together**: the girlfriend and the boyfriend, side by side or close, with both faces in view. The AI keeps her as she is and shrinks him. - **Standing works best,** from the knees up or head to feet, so there is room for her to hold him on her hip. - **Both faces clear,** in good light, no sunglasses. His beard, mustache, glasses and cap stay on his face, which is the whole joke. - **Just the two of you** in the photo. Other people in the back may get in the way. - **Two women or two men?** The person on the right holds the person on the left. - **Adults only.** Both of you are grown-ups and both of you said yes to the joke. Never upload a photo with a child in it, and never someone else's photo. For slides 1 and 2, pick two real photos of you two: a kiss, a hug, a wedding or date night photo. ## How many credits does it cost? You pay per photo in credits, and the create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. The one-tap price covers one 2K photo, charged once. A smaller 1K photo costs less if you run the prompt by hand in AI Photo. | Model | Settings | Credits | | --- | --- | --- | | Nano Banana 2.1 (this template) | 2K photo, 9:16, one tap | 3 | | Nano Banana 2.1 (by hand in AI Photo) | 1K photo, 9:16, same prompt | 2 | Credits come with a plan; see [pricing](https://www.makeviral.ai/pricing). A failed photo gives its credits back. ## What does the she kisses my boo boos AI template make? One new photo: the third slide, "My mother is beyond compare". | In your photo | In the AI photo | |---|---| | Her | The same: her face, hair, clothes and size. She now holds him on her hip, one arm under him, like a mom holds a toddler | | Him | The same face at its grown-up age, with his own beard, mustache, hair, glasses and cap, on a body the size of a two-year-old, in a tiny copy of his own clothes | | The place and the light | Kept as in your photo, so it looks like a real snapshot | The joke works because nothing else changes: it is your real photo, except that he is suddenly tiny and very content on her hip. He is a grown man the whole time: the AI never gives him a child's face. **How MakeViral makes it:** your photo goes to a top AI image model and comes back as one 2K vertical photo, in about a minute. The create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything, and every run is a new take. ## How to do the she kisses my boo boos trend on TikTok 1. **Make the AI photo** here from one photo of you two. 2. **Pick two real photos** of you as a couple: a kiss for slide 1, a cute or dressed-up photo for slide 2. 3. **Post a TikTok photo slideshow** with three slides, the AI photo last, on the trend's sound: search the Minions "original sound" of the poem, or tap the sound under any she kisses my boo boos TikTok and press Use this sound. 4. **Write the lines on the slides:** "She kisses my boo boos" on slide 1, "She braids my hair" on slide 2, "My mother is beyond compare" on slide 3. Some write "My mommy is beyond compare" or "My GF is beyond compare". 5. **Tag her** (the big posts do) and keep the platform's AI label on. The poem's timing does the work: the third line lands right on the AI slide. ## Where does the prompt come from? From the trend's own how-to videos. The posts never shared a prompt: under the first big post, "Send the prompt over boss" is the top comment, and the answers only say ChatGPT or Gemini, or "make my boyfriend look very small". The AI image template that the how-to videos use shows its prompt on screen: "Make the girlfriend hold her boyfriend in her arms, with the boyfriend scaled down to a tiny size. Keep both faces, identities, clothing, background, pose, and lighting unchanged. Make the boyfriend look realistic and naturally supported in her arms." Our prompt keeps those words in that order. Then it adds what the big posts show: she carries him on her hip, he keeps his grown-up face, beard and cap, his body is toddler size in a tiny copy of his clothes, and both faces look at the camera. It also says that he is a grown man and never a child, and adds no one to the photo. ## What goes wrong, and how do you fix it? | Problem | Fix | |---|---| | His face looks younger or softer | Use a sharp photo where his face is large and well lit. Every run is a new take. | | He is not small enough, or too small | Run it again. A photo where you stand side by side, from the knees up, works best. | | The wrong person got shrunk | In a photo of two women or two men, the person on the right holds the person on the left: swap places in the photo. | | Her pose looks stiff | Use a photo where she stands, not one where she sits. | | The model refuses the photo | Check that only two adults are in it, with no child anywhere. The credits come back when a run fails. | ## She Kisses My Boo Boos trend questions ### What is the she kisses my boo boos trend? It is a TikTok couple trend from October 2026. You post three slides on the Despicable Me 2 poem sound: "She kisses my boo boos", "She braids my hair" and "My mother is beyond compare". The last slide is an AI photo of the girlfriend holding her boyfriend on her hip, shrunk to toddler size with his own adult face. People also call it the boyfriend shrink trend, the tiny boyfriend trend and the my mother is beyond compare trend. ### Where is she kisses my boo boos from, and what is its meaning? It is from Despicable Me 2 (2013). Agnes, the youngest of the three girls, reads her Mother's Day poem: "She kisses my boo boos, she braids my hair, my mother is beyond compare." A boo boo is a child's word for a small cut or bruise. The Minions account posted the clip on TikTok in May 2023, and that is the sound people use. Searches for the Agnes or Minions she kisses my boo boos lines and the lyrics lead back to the same poem. The trend's joke is that the girlfriend is the mom in the poem and the boyfriend is the kid. ### How do you do the she kisses my boo boos trend? Press "Create your own", add one photo of you and your boyfriend together, and press Generate. You get the AI photo for the last slide. Post it as slide 3 of a TikTok slideshow after two real photos of you two, on the poem sound, with one line of the poem on each slide. ### Is there a she kisses my boo boos template, a CapCut or AI tutorial? Yes. Since 25 October 2026 how-to videos send people to an AI image template or a CapCut template, the she kisses my boo boos tutorial and the my mother is beyond compare template that many accounts repost. On MakeViral the template is this page: one couple photo in, the AI slide out, with no app to learn and no prompt to write. The Spanish how-tos call it the novio miniatura (tiny boyfriend) effect, and the same page works for novio miniatura ia. ### Is it a boyfriend shrink filter, an AI baby boyfriend or a mini boyfriend AI? Can AI shrink my boyfriend? All three names point to the same photo. It is not a live filter: the AI makes one still photo from your couple photo, with the boyfriend shrunk to toddler size. His face stays his grown-up face, so he looks like an AI baby boyfriend, a mini version of himself. So it is the boyfriend as a baby, made by AI from a photo of two adults, with no real child anywhere. ### Does my boyfriend keep his face and beard? Yes. That is the point of the trend. His face stays at its real age, with his own beard, mustache, hair, glasses and cap. Only his body becomes toddler size. Use a photo where his face is large and sharp. ### Can she be the tiny one? He kisses my boo boos? Not in this version. The trend and our prompt shrink the boyfriend, and she carries him. Some people write "he kisses my boo boos" on the slides anyway, which works with the same photo. For two women or two men, the person on the right holds the person on the left. ### Is the tiny boyfriend mom trend OK to do with kids? No. This page is for adults only. The tiny boy in the photo is the grown-up boyfriend, made smaller by AI, never a real child. Never upload a photo with a child in it, and only use a photo of two adults who both said yes to the joke. ### What is the mommy AI photo trend? Is it the same as the she braids my hair AI trend? Yes. The how-to captions call the same post the mommy AI photo trend, the she braids my hair AI trend and the my mother is beyond compare AI trend, because the AI photo turns the girlfriend into the "mom" of the poem. Some write "my mommy is beyond compare" on the last slide. ### Why is it called she kisses my bobo or she kisses me boo boos? Those are just spellings people type. The trend is also spelled she kisses my bobo, she kisses me boo boos and she kisses my boo boo's. The poem says "she kisses my boo boos". ### Is the she kisses my boo boos meme mean to the boyfriend? Not when he is in on it. The she kisses my boo boos meme works because he looks so happy on her hip. Show him the photo before you post it, and keep it to your own couple photos. ### Is the sound on the result? No. The result is one photo. You add the trend's sound in TikTok when you post the slideshow. The sound belongs to the film, so use it from TikTok's own sound library. ### Does it cost credits? Yes, a few credits per photo, because it is one AI image. The create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything, and if a run fails, the credits come back. ### Is my photo private? Yes. MakeViral does not post your photo or the result anywhere or show them to other users. The result goes to your private My videos page, and you can delete it there at any time. ## Other AI video templates and tools - [Perdon Trend: The Perfect AI Photo of You, Then "Perdón"](https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/perdon-ai-photo-trend): Add one everyday photo of yourself or your pet.
