From your photo, MakeViral makes you do it in a modest police-style costume, with friends or your pet. The cap toss, the dog-leg shake (개다리춤), the whistle and the finger gun: ILLIT's police point dance, with you in a modest police-style costume. Solo, with one or two friends, or with your pet. Also called: 체포하겠어 challenge, ILLIT police dance, You're Under Arrest point dance, 아일릿 체포하겠어 챌린지, ILLIT whistle dance. **Make it now:** [Make this video](https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/illit-youre-under-arrest-ai-dance/create). 1 photo · 10 s · 9:16 with sound · 126 credits, charged once · ready in a few minutes · no prompt to write. "You're Under Arrest" (체포하겠어) is the title track of BREAK EVEN, the new mini album of the K-pop girl group ILLIT (BELIFT LAB, part of HYBE). The full song and the album come out on 26 October 2026 at 6 PM Korean time, but the dance went first. On 5 October ILLIT posted a short challenge teaser on TikTok: a whistle sound, finger-gun hands and a whistle blow (Star Today). It had 3.5 million views by 19 October. A fan post on the teaser's sound from 8 October has 1.1 million views. ILLIT performed the song for the first time at their encore concert in Incheon on 17 October, in police-style uniforms with whistles on cords. On 18 October came the official 체포하겠어 challenge: the members toss off their caps, do the 개다리춤, the old Korean "dog-leg" knee shake, blow the whistle and end with a shooting hand sign (HuffPost Korea). Two clips of it made 3.0 and 2.4 million views in a day. The short-skirt costume drew criticism in the Korean press, so our versions use a modest costume with trousers. Covers now come from Korea, the US, Japan, the Philippines and Europe. ### Under Arrest Dance trend timeline - **2026-10-05**: ILLIT posts the "체포하겠어 challenge teasing" clip on TikTok: a whistle sound, finger-gun hands and a whistle blow (3.5 million views by 19 October). Seedance 2.5 films the You're Under Arrest Dance scene straight from your photo, with no in-between picture, for 10 seconds with original sound. You write no prompt. 3. **Download or share.** The video is ready in a few minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in your Library. ### The by-hand way, with the exact prompts The one-tap flow runs this prompt for you. The video model takes your photo as a reference ([Image 1]) and films the scene straight from it, with no photo step first. AI Video takes one photo as the first frame, so it cannot run this prompt the same way: the prompt is here to read. #### Variant: Solo Settings: 1 photo (you, face clear (knees up is best)) · Seedance 2.5 · 10 s · 720p · 9:16 · with sound · 126 credits in one tap. 1. The video prompt is filled in. Settings: Seedance 2.5, 10 s, 720p, 9:16, sound on. The video prompt: ```text Animate the person in [Image 1]: a cheeky K-pop police point dance challenge in a modest police-style costume. One continuous vertical 9:16 shot with no cuts, like a real phone video of a dance challenge on a tripod at chest height, photorealistic. The dancer is the person in [Image 1], in every frame: copy the exact face from [Image 1] (the face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles), and the same build, so their friends recognize them at once. The dancer is an adult. They wear a modest police-style dance costume: a navy short-sleeved button-up shirt, a slim black tie, straight navy trousers, black boots, a navy peaked cap with a black visor, and a small silver toy whistle on a black cord around the neck. No badge, no star, no patch, no name tag and no words or letters on it; never the clothes from [Image 1]. The face stays the same from the first frame to the last, also in the head turns and the wink. Never morph. If [Image 1] shows an animal, the dancer is that animal standing upright on its hind legs, with its own face, fur and markings, not a person. The place: a plain grey corrugated metal roller-shutter wall in a clean concrete car park, a smooth grey floor, yellow and black hazard stripes along the base of the wall, cool white light. The moves, sharp and playful on the beat: 0-1.5 s: full body, a stern playful face; on the first beat they grab the cap by the visor and toss it away out of the frame. 1.5-4 s: hands on the hips, knees bent, the funny dog-leg shake: both knees swing in and out fast, the feet stay planted. 4-6 s: they blow the toy whistle twice on the whistle beats, cheeks puffed, the other hand pointing straight at the camera. 6-8 s: one arm shoots up on a high diagonal, the other hand on the hip, one lower leg kicks up behind; then both hands frame the face. 8-10 s: they step toward the camera, point a playful finger gun (one bare hand, index finger out, thumb up) at the lens, 'shoot' with a wink and blow on the fingertip. The face is large and sharp at the end: exactly the face from [Image 1]. Audio: an original upbeat, bouncy K-pop style dance beat with crisp police whistle hits and finger snaps; no known song, no lyrics, no singing, no talking. Exactly one dancer. The finger gun is only a bare-hand sign: no gun or weapon anywhere. No police officers, police car or handcuffs. No badge and no words or letters anywhere. No famous people, no children. One head, two arms, two legs, five fingers per hand. No captions, no logos, no watermark. ``` 2. Press Generate, then download the 9:16 MP4. The photo prompt is filled in: ```text Use the uploaded image as the base. 9:16 vertical photo, like a real phone photo of a pet dance challenge, taken at the height of the pet. The pet from the uploaded image stands upright on its two hind legs in front of a plain grey corrugated metal roller-shutter wall in a clean concrete underground car park, on a smooth grey concrete floor, with a strip of yellow and black hazard stripes along the base of the wall and cool white light. Nothing else: no shirt, no clothes on its body. The cap has no badge, no star, no emblem and no words. The pet faces the camera with a proud, cheeky face, one front paw raised in a little salute. Its whole body is in view, from the cap to the hind paws, with its tail. Realistic photo with natural colors and a soft, shallow depth of field. Exactly one animal and no people. Keep the animal's face, fur, markings, tail and size, the small navy cap, the toy whistle, the grey roller-shutter wall and the floor exactly as in the image. 0-2 s: the pet, upright on its hind legs, gives a quick shake of the head: the little cap flips off and tumbles away out of the frame. 2-5 s: it bounces on its hind legs and shakes its back legs in and out like a funny little dog-leg dance, its front paws on its hips, its ears flopping. 5-7 s: it takes the toy whistle in its mouth and toots it twice on the beat, cheeks puffed, then points one front paw straight at the camera. 7-10 s: it raises one front paw high, then points the paw at the lens like a tiny finger gun and tilts its head with a cheeky look, its face large and sharp. Audio: an original upbeat, bouncy K-pop style dance beat with crisp police whistle hits and finger snaps; no known song, no lyrics, no singing, no talking. The pet never speaks. Exactly one animal, with real furry paws, never human hands. No extra animals, no extra legs, no morphing. No people. No badge, no words, no text, no logos, no watermark. ``` 4. Press Generate, then download the 9:16 MP4. One-tap version of this variant: https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/illit-youre-under-arrest-ai-dance/create?variant=pet ### Which photo works best? You need **one photo for Solo**, **two for Duo**, **three for Squad** and **one pet photo for Pet**. - **People:** one person per photo, face to the camera, sharp and well lit; from the knees up is best. Your face and hair come from the photo, the costume from the template. - **Duo:** photo 1 dances on the left, photo 2 on the right. **Squad:** photo 1 leads in the middle, photo 2 on the left, photo 3 on the right. - No sunglasses, no mask, no beauty filter, nobody else in the photo. - **Pet:** one sharp photo of your dog or cat, whole body, face clear. It gets the little cap and the toy whistle. - This template is for adults and pets. Use photos of yourself, of adults who agreed, or of your own pets. Never a celebrity, a stranger or a child. ## How many credits does it cost? You pay per video in credits, and the create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. The one-tap price covers the scene photo and the video, charged once. The cheaper models are there if you run the prompts by hand in AI Video. | Video model | Settings | Credits | | --- | --- | --- | | Seedance 2.5 (this template) | 10 s, 720p, straight from your photos, one tap | 126 | Credits come with a plan; see [pricing](https://www.makeviral.ai/pricing). A failed video gives its credits back. ## What happens in the You're Under Arrest dance video, second by second? Every version is one continuous 10-second shot in front of a grey roller-shutter wall in a concrete car park, the plain look of the official challenge: | Seconds | Solo, Duo and Squad | Pet | |---|---|---| | 0-1.5 | You stand in a navy police-style costume and cap, then toss the cap away on the first beat. | Your pet shakes its head and the little cap flips off. | | 1.5-4 | Hands on the hips, the 개다리춤: both knees swing in and out fast. | It bounces on its hind legs and shakes its back legs. | | 4-6 | You blow the toy whistle twice on the whistle beats and point at the camera. | It toots the whistle and points a paw at you. | | 6-8 | One arm up on a high diagonal, a hand on the hip, a little kick, hands framing the face. | It raises a paw high. | | 8-10 | You step up to the lens and fire a finger gun with a wink. | It points its paw like a tiny finger gun. | Duo and Squad dance every move in sync. The clip comes with an original upbeat K-pop style beat with whistle hits, not the ILLIT song. Every run is a new take, so results differ. ## Solo, Duo, Squad or Pet: which version should you pick? Press "Create your own" and pick one. | | Solo (default) | Duo | Squad | Pet | |---|---|---|---|---| | Photos | 1: you | 2: you and a friend | 3: you and two friends | 1: your dog or cat | | How it works | Seedance 2.5 makes the scene straight from your photo | The same, from two photos | The same, from three photos | A Nano Banana 2 picture of your pet in the cap, then Kling 3.0 Pro (Best: Seedance 2.5) | | Frame | Vertical 9:16, 720p | 9:16, 720p | 9:16, 720p | 9:16, 1080p (Best 720p) | | Length | 10 s | 10 s | 10 s | 10 s | | Sound | An original K-pop style beat with whistle hits | The same | The same | The same | **Solo** is the challenge as most covers do it. **Duo** and **Squad** look like the official clips, where the members dance in a row. **Pet** is the cute AI dog dance or AI cat dance take: the 개다리춤 is literally a dog-leg dance, so dogs fit it well. The exact price shows on the Generate button before you spend anything. ## Why no idol, no badge and no real gun? MakeViral never uses ILLIT's faces, clips or names to make a video: the dancer is always the person in your photo. The costume is a modest, playful police-style outfit with straight trousers, no badge, no patch and no words on it, so it reads as a dance costume and never as a real officer's uniform. The finger gun is a bare-hand sign, and the video has no real or toy gun, no handcuffs and no police car. **Sound and hashtags:** the clip comes with an original beat. You can pick the official sound on TikTok when you post; the song belongs to its label, and MakeViral gives you no rights to it. #체포하겠어 (39.1 million views) and #You_re_Under_Arrest (32.9 million) are the big tags on 19 October 2026; #illit and #BREAK_EVEN work too. Keep the platform's AI label on. Want more? The credits come back; try another photo. | ## Under Arrest Dance trend questions ### What is the ILLIT You're Under Arrest challenge? It is the dance challenge of "You're Under Arrest" (체포하겠어), the title track of ILLIT's mini album BREAK EVEN. In the official clip of 18 October 2026 the members toss off their police caps, shake their legs, blow a whistle and end with a finger gun at the camera. Fans call it the ILLIT police dance or the whistle dance. ### When does the full You're Under Arrest ILLIT song come out? On 26 October 2026 at 6 PM Korean time, with the mini album BREAK EVEN. Until then the ILLIT new song is only out as the challenge clips, the TikTok preview sound and fan clips of the first stage at the encore concert in Incheon on 17 October. The ILLIT BREAK EVEN album is the group's fifth mini album. ### How do I make the ILLIT You're Under Arrest AI dance video? Press "Create your own", pick Solo, Duo, Squad or Pet, and add your photos. Press Generate; the button shows the price first. You get a 10-second You're Under Arrest AI dance clip with your face, the costume and an original beat. You write no prompt: it is the ILLIT AI dance as a ready-made AI dance video generator template. ### What are the moves of the You're Under Arrest dance? The You're Under Arrest choreography of the challenge: toss the cap, put your hands on your hips and shake your knees in and out (the 개다리춤), blow the whistle twice on the whistle beats, throw one arm up high with a hand on the hip, then point a finger gun at the camera. You do not need an ILLIT dance tutorial or a You're Under Arrest dance tutorial for the AI version: the video does the moves for you. ### Can my dog or cat do the You're Under Arrest dance? Yes. Pick Pet and add one photo of your pet. It gets a little navy cap and a toy whistle, flips the cap off, shakes its legs, toots the whistle and points a paw at you. It is an AI dog dance (or AI cat dance) with a K-pop beat, the dog dancing AI clip of the trend, and an easy AI pet dance to post. ### Can I do it with friends? Yes. Duo takes two photos and Squad takes three: you dance in a row in matching costumes, every move in sync, like the members in the official clips. Photo 1 is always you: left in Duo, in the middle in Squad. Use photos of adults who agreed. ### Will ILLIT be in my video? No. MakeViral never puts an idol's face or clip into your video, and the prompts never name the group. The dancer is the person in your photo, so it is your own cover of the ILLIT dance challenge, made with AI. Use photos of yourself, of adults who agreed, or of your own pets, never a celebrity, a stranger or a child. ### Is the costume a real police uniform? No. It is a modest, playful police-style costume: a navy short-sleeved shirt, a slim tie, straight trousers, boots, a navy cap and a toy whistle, with no badge, no patch and no words. That keeps the police costume dance fun and clearly a costume. The finger gun is a hand sign, never a gun. ### Is this the You're Under Arrest anime? No. "You're Under Arrest" (체포하겠어 in Korea) is also the name of Kosuke Fujishima's police manga from 1986 and its anime. This page is about the ILLIT under arrest song and its dance challenge of October 2026, a new police dance trend on TikTok. ### What song does the video use? Your clip comes with an original upbeat K-pop style beat with whistle hits, made with the video. It is not the ILLIT song: the You're Under Arrest song belongs to its label. When you post, you can pick the You're Under Arrest kpop sound on TikTok yourself. ### Is the ILLIT dance trend still growing? Yes. On 19 October 2026 the full song was still a week away, and the official challenge clips of 18 October had made millions of views in a day. It is one of the newest ILLIT dance trend clips and AI dance trend ideas of the month, and AI versions were not out yet, so an early AI take still stands out. ### Can I make other K-pop AI dance videos? Yes. This template makes one AI kpop dance; for more kpop dance AI clips, try the IVE Looks Can Kill dance or the A2O LITE NEON dance. Each one is a kpop AI dance video template made from your photos. ### Which AI models make the videos? Solo, Duo and Squad use Seedance 2.5, straight from your photos, vertical at 720p. Pet first makes a Nano Banana 2 picture of your pet in the cap, then Kling 3.0 Pro animates it at 1080p (Best: Seedance 2.5 at 720p). Each makes a 10-second MP4 with sound and no watermark. ### What prompt does the You're Under Arrest AI trend use? On 19 October 2026 nobody had shared a prompt: the trend was a real dance, and no AI version or template existed yet. Our prompts describe the official moves (the cap toss, the leg shake, the whistle, the finger gun), a modest costume and a plain car park wall, plus our tested words that keep your face. It is your You're Under Arrest AI template with no prompt to write. ## Other AI video templates and tools - [AI Arrest Trend: Make the “Getting Arrested Again” Video With One Photo](https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/ai-arrest-trend): Two officers walk you out of the house at night, hands cuffed behind your back, red and blue lights on your face, and you give the camera a small, smug smile.
