The AI couple thriller is a new template, not a viral reel yet. An AI video site published it as "AI Couple Thriller Trend – Cliff Edge Video Effect" on 13 October 2026: two photos, an 18-second wide clip made with Seedance 2.5. Its sample clip is at the top of this page. A second AI video site showed an AI Couple Thriller page by 15 October 2026. We are honest about its size. On 16 October 2026 we found no viral post of it on TikTok or YouTube, and Google shows no searches for the name yet. We built it because people look for AI kiss videos ("ai kiss video generator" had about 33,100 Google searches a month worldwide over the last year), and this one ends with a laugh, not just a kiss. ### Couple Thriller trend timeline - **2026-10-13**: An AI video site publishes the "AI Couple Thriller Trend – Cliff Edge Video Effect" with its sample clip: two photos, a kiss on a cliff, a push and a fall, 18 seconds. - **2026-10-15**: A second AI video site shows an AI Couple Thriller page with suspense scenes for couples. - **2026-10-16**: MakeViral adds the template, with a softer ending: the one who falls lands in the sea and comes up fine. ## What the Couple Thriller video looks like Made from the prompts on this page. The people and pets are AI-made, not real persons, and the sound is original. Your result will differ from run to run. - **Example 1** (18 s, 9:16 MP4 with sound): A kiss on a stormy cliff, a cold stare, one push and a drone shot of the fall, in the template's own sample. Two AI-made people, 18 seconds, wide. Your version is vertical, 15 seconds, and ends with the one who falls popping up in the sea, unhurt. No editing app, no watermark. ### The one-tap way (no prompt to write) 1. **Add the two photos.** Press "Make yours" and add the one who pushes, then the one who falls. Add them in this order, because the order decides who is who in the scene. Take them with the camera or pick them from your library. Start here: https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/couple-thriller-ai-trend/create 2. **Press Generate.** The button shows the price. Seedance 2.5 films the Couple Thriller scene straight from your photos, with no in-between picture, for 15 seconds with original sound. You write no prompt. 3. **Download or share.** The video is ready in a few minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share it from your phone, or find it later in your Library. ### The by-hand way, with the exact prompts The one-tap flow runs this prompt for you. The video model takes your photos as references ([Image 1], [Image 2] in the order you add them) and films the scene straight from them, with no photo step first. AI Video takes one photo as the first frame, so it cannot run this prompt the same way: the prompt is here to read. Settings: 2 photos (the one who pushes + the one who falls) · Seedance 2.5 · 15 s · 720p · 9:16 · with sound · 189 credits in one tap. 1. The video prompt is filled in. Settings: Seedance 2.5, 15 s, 720p, 9:16, sound on. The video prompt: ```text Create an exactly 15-second, 9:16 ultra-photorealistic Hollywood-level cinematic romantic thriller using only [Image 1] and [Image 2] as character references. The one in [Image 1] always pushes, and the one in [Image 2] always falls. Strictly preserve both characters' recognizable facial identities, skin tones, hairstyles, body proportions and original clothing throughout every shot. Never swap identities, blend faces, or reverse their roles. In every frame, copy each exact face from its own photo (the face shape, eye color and eye shape, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair color, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, moustache, glasses or freckles). Each face stays the same from the first frame to the last, so their friends recognize them at once. Both stay fully clothed. Set the entire story on a dramatic coastal cliff overlooking a violently turbulent ocean during an approaching storm: dark rocks, enormous crashing waves, white sea foam, thick overcast skies, powerful coastal winds. Live-action 35mm film look, subtle film grain, organic skin textures, cold desaturated blue-gray color grading, soft overcast daylight. No glossy CGI. 0-2 s: a wide shot of enormous dark waves crashing against towering cliffs; a massive wave explodes into white spray, with roaring wind. 2-3.5 s: hard cut to a stable eye-level medium-wide side shot of the couple on the rocky coastline, holding hands, exchanging affectionate smiles, the wind in their hair. 3.5-5 s: the one who falls wraps their arms around the other's waist and lifts them into a passionate embrace, turning gently. 5-7 s: hard cut to an intimate side-profile close-up of a passionate kiss, eyes closed, both faces large, the gray-blue ocean blurred behind. 7-9.5 s: hard cut to an extremely tight profile close-up as the kiss ends: the one who pushes opens their eyes, and the affectionate expression turns into a cold, emotionless stare; the other shifts from affection to confusion. The romantic music fades into an ominous low drone. 9.5-11.5 s: hard cut to a stable medium-wide side shot near the cliff edge: without warning, the one who pushes thrusts both hands against the other's chest in one clearly visible push; the one who falls staggers back, throws the arms out and falls beyond the edge, while the one who pushes stays standing, cold and detached. A sharp impact sound and a whoosh. 11.5-13.5 s: hard cut to a vertical top-down aerial shot of the one who falls, face up, eyes wide in shock, arms out, falling in slow motion toward deep open water far from the rocks, as the camera rises away. 13.5-15 s: hard cut to a medium shot at the foot of the cliff: the one who falls pops up out of the foam, unhurt and soaking wet, spits out sea water and glares up with a deadpan "seriously?" look. A big comic splash and a short playful music sting. No blood, no injury, never a body on the rocks: the fall ends in deep water and the one who falls is fine. Exactly two people. No text, no subtitles, no logos, no watermark. ``` 2. Press Generate, then download the 9:16 MP4. One-tap version of this variant: https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/couple-thriller-ai-trend/create ### Which photo works best? You need **two photos**, one person in each. - **Photo 1 pushes. Photo 2 falls.** Want the roles the other way round? Swap the photos. - **A sharp face, turned to the camera**, in good light. The kiss and the stare are big close-ups, so a clear, front-facing face matters most. - **You keep the clothes and hair from your photo.** Dark or neutral clothes fit the stormy look. - Use your own photo, or the photo of an adult who said yes and is in on the joke. Never a celebrity, a stranger or a child. ## How many credits does it cost? You pay per video in credits, and the create page shows the exact price on the Generate button before you spend anything. The one-tap price covers the scene photo and the video, charged once. The cheaper models are there if you run the prompts by hand in AI Video. | Video model | Settings | Credits | | --- | --- | --- | | Seedance 2.5 (this template) | 15 s, 720p, straight from your photos, one tap | 189 | Credits come with a plan; see [pricing](https://www.makeviral.ai/pricing). A failed video gives its credits back. ## What happens in the AI couple thriller video? | Time | Shot | |---|---| | 0-2 s | Huge dark waves crash against a sea cliff | | 2-5 s | The two of you hold hands on the rocks, then photo 2 lifts photo 1 into a hug | | 5-7 s | A close-up of the kiss, in profile | | 7-9.5 s | Photo 1 opens their eyes: the look turns cold, photo 2 looks confused, the music drops | | 9.5-11.5 s | One push, and photo 2 falls off the edge | | 11.5-13.5 s | A top-down drone shot of the fall toward the open sea | | 13.5-15 s | Photo 2 pops up in the foam, soaking wet and fine, with a "seriously?" look | The clip is 15 seconds, vertical 9:16 at 720p, with its own music and sound: romantic strings, a low drone, the wind, a splash. It is made straight from your two photos with Seedance 2.5, so there is no in-between picture. The exact price shows on the Generate button before you spend anything. ## What goes wrong, and how do you fix it? | Problem | Fix | |---|---| | The wrong person falls | Photo 1 always pushes, photo 2 always falls. Swap your photos and run it again. | | A face looks less like the photo | Use a sharp, front-facing photo. Side views and sunglasses make the kiss close-up harder. | | The two faces blend in the kiss | Use two photos with one person each, not a photo of you together. | | The ending looks different | Every run is a new take: the drone shot and the splash can change. Run it again for another take. | | The model refuses a photo | Some photos get refused. The credits come back; try another photo. | ## Couple Thriller trend questions ### What is the AI couple thriller trend? It is an AI couple video template from October 2026, a couple thriller AI video: a kiss on a stormy cliff, a cold stare, a push, and a drone shot of the fall. AI video sites call it the AI couple thriller trend or the cliff edge video effect. It is new and small: no viral post of it existed on 16 October 2026. ### How do I make the AI couple thriller video? Press "Create your own", add photo 1 (the one who pushes) and photo 2 (the one who falls), and press Generate. The button shows the price first. No. The push is a movie twist, and the one who falls lands in deep water and pops up fine, with a "seriously?" look. There is no blood and no one hits the rocks. It is a joke between two people who agreed to it. Keep it that way: never make it of someone who did not say yes, and keep the AI label on. ### Is this an AI kiss video generator? It is one AI kiss video, with a twist, made from two photos. Most AI kiss video generator and AI kiss video maker tools stop at the kiss; this AI kiss trend goes on to the push and the splash. You need no AI kiss video prompt and no AI kiss video app: it runs in the browser. ### Can I use it as an AI couple video generator? For this one scene, yes. It is an AI couple video, ready to make, part of the AI couple trend of AI couple videos: no AI couple video prompt to write and no AI couple video app or AI couple video maker to install. For a couple AI video generator with a sweet ending, try the [AI hug video](https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/ai-hug-video). ### Is it the pushing someone off a cliff meme? It plays on the same joke as the pushing someone off a cliff meme and the push off cliff meme GIF, as a short AI romantic thriller video. People also search it as she pushed him off the cliff, girlfriend pushes boyfriend off cliff, woman pushes boyfriend off cliff, girl pushed off cliff meme or the cliff push trend. Here the push is staged fiction, and the fall ends in the sea with a laugh. ### Can he push her instead? Yes. Photo 1 always pushes and photo 2 always falls, so put the photos in the order you want. It works for any couple or two friends. ### Is this the couple thriller trend from TikTok? It is the same template that AI video sites show as the couple thriller trend: the stormy cliff kiss, the AI couple kiss video with the cold stare, the push and the AI cliff video drone shot of the fall. On 16 October 2026 it had no big TikTok post yet, so you can be early with it. The cliff kiss AI scene is a short AI thriller video with a stormy cliff kiss. ### How long is the video and what format is it? 15 seconds, vertical 9:16 at 720p, as an MP4 with its own music and sound and no watermark, ready for TikTok and Reels. ### Is the video real? No. It is made with AI from two still photos, and nobody stood on that cliff. Use only photos of adults who agreed, never a child, and keep the AI label on when you post. ## Other AI video templates and tools - [La Tormenta de Arena AI Trend: Te He Perdido Entre la Gente](https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/te-he-perdido-entre-la-gente-ai-trend): One of you leans on a club balcony and smiles down, the camera turns to the packed dance floor, and a white spotlight finds the other, who looks up.
