# Refund policy

> If you have not used any credits from a purchase, you get a full refund of that purchase when you ask within 14 days of the payment: write to support@makeviral.ai or use the contact form on [our support page](https://www.makeviral.ai/support). Credits that were used to make videos cannot be refunded. A video that fails gives its credits back by itself.

## Can I get my money back?

| Case | Refund? |
|---|---|
| A one-time credit pack, no credits used, within 14 days of the payment | Yes, a full refund of that pack. |
| A plan payment (weekly, monthly or yearly), no credits from it used, within 14 days of the payment | Yes, a full refund of that payment. |
| Any purchase whose credits were used to make something | No, whatever the result: we pay the AI providers for every video. |
| A request more than 14 days after the payment | No, unless the law where you live gives you more. |
| A video, photo or swap that failed | No money needed: its credits come back to your balance by themselves. |

## How to ask for a refund

1. Write to support@makeviral.ai, or send the contact form on [our support page](https://www.makeviral.ai/support), within 14 days of the payment.
2. Give the email address of your MakeViral account, the date of the payment and the amount (it is on the Stripe receipt in your inbox).
3. We check that no credits from that purchase were used, refund it to the same card or wallet through Stripe, and reply by email.

## Refunds: unused credits only

Refunds are for unused credits only. If you have not used any credits from a subscription payment or a credit pack, you can ask for a full refund of that purchase within 14 days of the payment.

Once credits from a purchase have been used to make something, that purchase cannot be refunded, whether or not you like the result, because we pay the AI providers when the content is made. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the law where you live.

## A video that fails gives its credits back

When a trend template, an AI video, a photo, a Create run or a Video Swap fails, all its credits come back to your balance by themselves. This includes a run that an AI model refuses. You do not need to write to us.

For slideshows, clips and AI creator videos, the parts that were not made come back, and the parts you already received are kept. If credits did not come back after a failed run, write to support@makeviral.ai with the time of the run.

## Cancel any time in Profile

Open [Profile](https://www.makeviral.ai/profile), tap **Cancel plan** and follow the steps to **Cancel my plan**. Your plan and its credits stay active until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing renews after that. Changed your mind before the end? Tap **Keep my plan** in Profile.

There is no cancel fee and no minimum term. Canceling does not refund the current period: for that, see the 14-day rule above.

## When credits expire

- **Pack credits never expire.** Credits from a one-time pack stay in your account.
- **Plan credits end with the plan.** A plan adds its credits at the start of each cycle: every week on a weekly plan, every month on a monthly or a yearly plan. When the plan ends, its unused credits end with it.
- **Plan credits are used first,** so your pack credits last longer.

## Payments and receipts

Checkout runs on Stripe, with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe emails you the receipt. In Profile, **Billing and invoices** opens the secure Stripe page with your card and your invoices.

All prices are in U.S. dollars, and every page shows the price before you pay. See [pricing](https://www.makeviral.ai/pricing) for the current packs and plans.
