# How do I change or pause my plan?

> Tap **Switch** on the plan you want on [the pricing page](https://www.makeviral.ai/pricing), or **Change plan** in Profile. A bigger plan starts at once, and a smaller plan starts when your paid period ends.

## Switch plans

- **A bigger plan** starts at once. You pay only the difference for the rest of your period, and the switch happens when that payment goes through.
- **A smaller plan** starts when your paid period ends, with nothing charged before.
- You keep one plan at a time.

## Pause instead of canceling

When you tap **Cancel plan** in Profile, the steps offer **Take a break instead?** for a weekly or a monthly plan: 1, 2 or 4 weeks on a weekly plan, 1, 2 or 3 months on a monthly plan. While the plan is paused, there are no payments and no new credits. Tap **Resume now** in Profile to start again sooner.

A yearly plan cannot be paused, and one plan can be paused twice.
